Bath Repair in Bagmore
Bath repair in and around Bagmore: a fixed quote from photos, a tidy visit and a one-year guarantee.
- Repairs from £95
- Damage done while the bathroom was being fitted
- Deep scratches in acrylic

DIY kit or professional repair?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair won’t last.
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
Bath repair in Bagmore, done in place
Small damage on a bath is worth repairing early. Exposed metal on enamelled baths soon rusts, and on acrylic, a crack keeps spreading while the bath flexes. Repairing it stops the damage getting worse. If you’re dealing with chips on the rim or sides and a kit repair that didn’t last, we can generally put it right.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it.

What we do, step by step
It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, cover and mask the work area, then carry out the work, which normally takes a few hours. If we find something your pictures didn’t show, we will explain it before carrying on.
- We protect the bath and the floor around it.
- The damaged area is cleaned, keyed and degreased, and any rust is treated.
- Filler goes in and is sanded flush once it has set.
- We match both the colour and the shine.
- We clear up and give you the curing time, normally until the following day.
Before we arrive
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Keep a parking space free if you can

Advice
Prices and what affects them
Repairs from £95. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price depends on:
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- Access to the area
- What kind of damage it is
- How much damage there is
We do not add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Send photos for a quote
We price nearly every job from photos. This is what to send:
- A picture taken from further back
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- What it’s made of, if you know
There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.
What we’re called out for in Bagmore
A cracked acrylic bath generally wasn’t supported properly. Legs that are not adjusted, a missing cradle or a soft floor let the base flex.
You may need us if you’ve spotted any of these:
- Chips on the rim or sides
- A failed DIY repair that is discoloured or lifting
- Rusty patches near the plughole
- Hairline or through cracks in acrylic
Before you book anyone
- Who turns up on the day
- What aftercare is recommended
- What happens if they find more damage
- How the room is protected while they work
Honest limits
We will not take on work that won’t last, so these are the limits:
- A bath that moves underfoot, until its support is fixed
- Cracks in acrylic we can’t reach from underneath
- Water coming from the waste or taps rather than the bath
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think.
What we work on
- Roll-top & freestanding
- Acrylic
- Cast iron enamel
- Pressed steel enamel
- Whirlpool & spa baths
Keeping it looking good
How the surface is treated afterwards matters:
- Clean with warm water and a mild detergent
- Give the bath a quick rinse after use
- If an acrylic bath flexes, have its feet adjusted
- Cover the bath during DIY or decorating
A repaired bath needs no special treatment, beyond gentle cleaning. Skip bleach and gritty creams.
Until we visit, a strip of waterproof tape over the damage helps, so water cannot get in. Remove it before the repair.
Bagmore: your questions answered
How much does bath repair cost in Bagmore?
Repairs from £95. Because every job differs, we price from photos. You will get a fixed figure before you book.
Do you repair coloured baths?
Yes. The colour is mixed on site to suit your bath, including older coloured suites.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Of course, and it generally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and you will get one combined price.
How soon can you come?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send pictures with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.
Do you cover the whole of Hampshire?
We cover the whole UK, including Bagmore and the rest of Hampshire. Send your postcode with your pictures and we’ll offer you dates.
When can I have a bath again?
Generally within a day, depending on the repair.
Does someone need to be in?
We need someone to let us in. You don’t need to watch us work.
Is a cracked acrylic bath repairable?
In most cases. The back of the crack is strengthened before the front is filled and refinished, so we need access under the bath.
Repairing versus replacing in Bagmore
When the bath is otherwise sound, repairing beats replacing. It costs less, takes less time and causes far less upheaval, and the bathroom stays as it is. Where the entire surface is tired, we may suggest re-enamelling instead. Our bath repair starts from £95. Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Why us?
- A year’s guarantee on all work
- No need to remove anything
- Honest advice, even when it means no job
- Most jobs done in one visit
