Fixed-price bath repair in Berwick and the surrounding area, usually in one visit.
- Repairs from £95

- Hairline or through cracks in acrylic

Signs you need bath repair in Berwick
Nearly all the chips we see start with something being dropped: a shampoo bottle, a shower head, a tile or a tool during a refit. On steel and cast iron baths, any chip down to the metal will start to rust.
Typical reasons for a call-out include:
- Chips under the taps
- A failed DIY repair that is discoloured or lifting
- A hole punched through by something heavy
- Rust spots around the plughole
What your quote should include
- Whether there are any call-out or travel charges
- When it can be used again
- What happens if the damage is worse than the photos show
- What protection goes down before work starts
About our bath repair in Berwick
Repairing baths is what we do most. Chips on the rim, rust around the waste and cracks in acrylic are all repaired in place, normally in one visit. We are frequently asked to fix impact holes in acrylic and a chip where the taps sit, in cast iron enamel, whirlpool & spa baths and roll-top & freestanding.
Peace of mind is built in: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we explain what it covers before booking.

Work for landlords and builders
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out pictures. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Berwick as well as householders. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it generally costs far less than a refit.
Repair or replace in Berwick?
Cast iron baths especially are worth keeping: they’re very heavy to remove, especially upstairs, and replacing like for like is not cheap. Repairing it leaves it where it is. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Berwick. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

When a repair isn’t the answer
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- Cracks in acrylic we cannot reach from underneath
- Leaks from the waste or overflow fittings (a plumber’s job)
- Rust that has eaten right through a steel bath
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before booking.

Keeping it looking good
Good habits make a big difference to how long a repair lasts. Here’s what we suggest:
- If an acrylic bath flexes, have its feet adjusted
- Have new chips seen to early
- Rinse it down after each bath
- Fix dripping taps early to stop staining and limescale
Look after the repair the same way as the bath: a soft cloth and washing-up liquid is all it needs. Avoid scourers and gritty cream cleaners.
Rust spreads under enamel faster than most people expect. Left for months, a small chip can grow into a large rust patch, so it pays to deal with it early.
What we do, step by step
On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. The job generally runs to two to three hours for most chips, tidy-up included.
- We start by looking at the damage and confirming the plan with you.
- Any rust and loose material comes out, and the area is degreased.
- We build up the filler in layers, shaping it to the bath.
- We tint the finish by hand to match the bath.
- The repair is polished to the same gloss as the bath and left to cure.
How to prepare
- Clear the area around the damage
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
- Let us know which floor the room is on

A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the whole bath, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.
Advice
Your questions about bath repair in Berwick
Will I be able to see the repair?
On a bath in good condition, a colour-matched repair is very hard to spot. On worn enamel, it can look shinier than the rest.
Which areas do you work in?
The whole UK, including all of Bristol. Send your postcode with your pictures and we’ll confirm dates.
How long does the repair take to cure?
Most baths can be used the following day. We confirm the time before we leave.
Something went through my bath. Can it be fixed?
In most cases. Photos of the hole and the underside help us check.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
In most cases, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. If it isn’t worth repairing, we’ll tell you.
Will you leave a mess?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we take our waste away with us.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
In nearly every case. If photos don’t show enough, we will ask for another angle.
How quickly can you book me in?
We’ll give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.
Different materials, different repairs
Acrylic
An acrylic bath is a moulded sheet strengthened from below. They do not rust, but they can crack, scratch or be holed, and a crack only stays repaired if it’s supported underneath.
Composite and resin
Stone resin and composite baths are heavy and solid. Chips and scratches are filled and matched, in much the same way.
