About our bath repair in Dadlington
Whether your bath is steel, cast iron or acrylic, we can repair it. Each material is repaired a little differently: metal baths need any rust dealt with first, and acrylic cracks need support from behind. Our repair technicians work on whirlpool & spa baths, acrylic and cast iron enamel, and people most frequently call us about scratches you can feel with a fingernail and chips under the taps.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee.

Looking after it afterwards
To keep it looking its best:
- Do not scrub with anything abrasive
- Check that an acrylic bath doesn’t move when you stand in it
- Have new chips seen to early
- Rinse it down after each bath
There is nothing special to do after a repair, beyond gentle cleaning. Skip bleach and gritty creams and rinse after use.
Avoid standing in a cracked acrylic bath until it’s fixed. Each time it flexes, the crack grows, and it can start to leak underneath.
Repair or replace: which is better?
A new bath brings a chain of other jobs: the tiles sitting on the rim tend to break, a new panel is often needed, and a plumber has to disconnect and reconnect everything. Repairing the damage avoids all of that. Prices start from £95. Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Repairs by material
Acrylic
An acrylic bath is a moulded sheet strengthened from below. They don’t rust, but they can crack, scratch or be holed, and a crack only stays repaired if it’s supported underneath.
Composite and resin
Stone resin and composite baths are heavy and solid. Chips and scratches are filled and matched, just like other baths.
Can I fix it myself?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
What we do, step by step
Visits start with a quick look at the job together, so you know exactly what we are doing. After that, protection goes down around the work area and the work begins. Allow two to three hours for most chips, and we’ll tell you if anything changes.
- We start by looking at the damage and confirming the plan with you.
- Loose enamel, rust and dirt are removed so the repair can bond.
- The damage is filled in layers and shaped to the curve of the bath.
- We tint the finish by hand to match the bath.
- Finally, it’s polished to match the shine and left to cure.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
Getting a price
There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from pictures: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.

When a repair is not the answer
In fairness, there are a few things a repair will not fix:
- Cracks in parts of an acrylic bath we can’t get to from below
- Flexing caused by a failed cradle or loose feet
- Leaking fittings, which need a plumber
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think before booking.

Questions from Dadlington
When can you do it?
We will give you dates with your quote. Tell us if you need it done quickly.
Do you work in Dadlington?
Yes. We work across the UK and travel to Dadlington. Send us pictures for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Can rust on a bath be repaired?
Yes. We remove the rust and loose enamel, fill the area, then colour-match the finish.
Can you match an avocado or pink bath?
Yes. The colour is mixed on site to suit your bath, including older coloured suites.
Can pets and children be at home?
Just keep them out of the work area. We’ll tell you when the room can be used again.
Will the repair show?
On a glossy bath, you’ll struggle to find it. On older, dull enamel the repair can look glossier than the area around it.
Can tenants book a repair?
We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just make sure the landlord agrees.
How do I book?
Just pictures, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, access to the room.
Landlords, agents and businesses in Dadlington
We’re used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access and we will handle the rest.

How we price bath repair
Repairs from £95. Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- The type of damage
- How many areas need work
- Whether we combine several jobs
- How hard the colour is to match
The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book.
Quotes from your photos
Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Details of any past repairs
- What it’s made of, if you know
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job the same day in most cases.
