Bath Repair for Pwll-glas homes
Chip and crack repairs to enamel, acrylic and cast iron baths for householders, landlords and businesses in Pwll-glas. Free, fixed quotes from your photos.
- Repairs from £95
- Scuffs and scratches in the surface
- Chips along the edge of the bath

Should you replace it?
A new bath costs more than the bath itself: taking out the old one, plumbing, tiling, a panel and redecorating. With a repair, it’s one visit and one price. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. Instead of hourly rates, we price the entire job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.
Why us?
- CHAS and Constructionline accredited
- Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- No extra charge for your area
- One-year guarantee on every repair

About our bath repair in Pwll-glas
Small damage on a bath is worth repairing early. Exposed metal on enamelled baths soon rusts, while cracks in acrylic grow each time the bath moves. Repairing it stops the damage getting worse. Whether it’s a failed DIY repair that’s discoloured or lifting and chips on the rim or sides, we can typically put it right, on cast iron enamel, whirlpool & spa baths and acrylic alike.
The work is covered for a year after we finish. If anything is not right, ring us and we will come back.

Honest limits
We won’t take on work that won’t last, so these are the limits:
- A bath that moves underfoot, until its support is fixed
- Metal that has corroded all the way through
- Cracks in acrylic we can’t reach from underneath
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before booking.
Materials we repair
- Acrylic
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Cast iron enamel
- Pressed steel enamel
- Roll-top & freestanding
Can I fix it myself?
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
How it works
The work is clean and fairly quiet, so you can stay at home while we are there. Protection goes down first, then the job itself takes a morning or an afternoon. At the end we talk you through how soon it can be used and how to look after it.
- We start by looking at the damage and confirming the plan with you.
- Loose enamel, rust and dirt are removed so the repair can bond.
- The damage is filled in layers and shaped to the curve of the bath.
- The colour is tinted by hand until it matches.
- Finally, it’s polished to match the shine and left to cure.
Preparing for the visit
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Clear the area around the damage
- Let us know which floor the room is on

Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.
Looking after it afterwards
A little care keeps the finish looking good. Our advice:
- Give the bath a quick rinse after use
- Get any new chip repaired before it rusts
- Stick to mild cleaners and a soft cloth
- Fix dripping taps early to stop staining and limescale
Keep metal objects like razors and cans off the surface, as they can leave rust marks. And fix dripping taps promptly.
Stop using the bath if a crack lets water through until it’s repaired. Water under the bath can damage the floor and the ceiling below.
What we’re called out for in Pwll-glas
The usual cause is something heavy dropped into the bath, and a lot happen during bathroom refits. Cracks in acrylic have a different cause: the bath is not properly supported, so it flexes under weight.
Get in touch if you’ve noticed any of these:
- Impact holes in acrylic
- An old repair that has yellowed or come loose
- Snagging damage from a refit
- A chip where the taps sit
What to look for in a quote
- If travel is included in the price
- Who will actually do the work
- Aftercare advice
- Whether they match the colour on site
