Bath repair in Westfield, done in place
You do not need a new bath because of a chip. Our repair technicians fill, shape and refinish the damage, with the colour mixed on site. Our repair technicians work on pressed steel enamel, cast iron enamel and roll-top & freestanding, and people most often call us about chips under the taps and a hole punched through by something heavy.
We guarantee the work for a year. If something isn’t right in that time, we come back and put it right.

Westfield questions
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes, frequently. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.
What areas do you cover?
We work UK-wide, and that includes Westfield. Our prices are the same everywhere.
Will the repair show?
On a bath in good condition, a colour-matched repair is very hard to spot. On older, dull enamel the repair can look glossier than the area around it.
Are there extra charges for Westfield?
There’s no separate call-out charge. Your fixed quote includes everything.
Will there be a smell?
There may be a mild smell during the work.
Do you repair coloured baths?
Yes, coloured baths are no problem. We tint the finish to your bath on site.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes: twelve months. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Do you hold any accreditations?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
The process
Here’s how a visit normally runs: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and clear up. Plan for a few hours. Before we go, we’ll explain how long to leave it and how to care for it.
- Dust sheets and masking go down around the bath.
- The damaged area is cleaned, keyed and degreased.
- Filler goes in and is sanded flush once it has set.
- We match both the colour and the shine.
- We tidy up and tell you when the bath can be used, generally the next day.
Before we arrive
- Make sure the area is dry
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Point us to the nearest place to park
Getting a price
You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.

Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £95. There’s no area surcharge for Westfield. What changes the price is:
- The colour and finish to match
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How many areas need work
- How many items we do on one visit
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Westfield. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
How to get a fixed price
You can take the pictures on your phone. Just make sure we can see:
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- What it’s made of, if you know
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- One picture of the entire bath
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed quote the same day in most cases.
Landlord and trade work in Westfield
Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.
Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We’re CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Cast iron baths especially are worth keeping: they’re very heavy to remove, especially upstairs, and replacing like for like isn’t cheap. A repair keeps it in place. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Looking after it afterwards
Simple care helps the repair last. Our advice:
- Do not leave a fresh chip for long
- Rinse the bath after use, especially in hard water areas
- Clean with warm water and a mild detergent
- Keep metal cans and razors off the surface
For the first few days, keep heavy bottles off the repaired spot. After that, normal gentle cleaning is fine without abrasive products.
Rust under enamel spreads surprisingly quickly. A chip the size of a fingernail can become a much larger patch if it’s left for months, so early repair keeps the cost down.
Signs you need bath repair in Westfield
Damage during fitting is very common. Tools, tiles and fittings get dropped into the bath, and the damage is not always spotted until later. Snagging repairs like these are a regular job for us.
Contact us if you’ve noticed any of these:
- A chip where the taps sit
- Impact holes in acrylic
- Chips on the rim or sides
- Snagging damage from a refit
Before you book anyone
- When it can be used again
- Who turns up on the day
- Whether they match the colour on site
- How your room will be protected

What your bath is made of matters
Acrylic
Acrylic feels warm and is light, but it relies on good support. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are so heavy that repairing in place makes obvious sense. Only the enamel surface wears or chips, and that’s the part we put right.
