Bath resealing in Bunny without replacing anything
Resealing is quick, but it transforms the look. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they protect the walls and floor. Our technicians work on baths, shower trays & enclosures and kitchen worktops & sinks, and common reasons people contact us are silicone smeared on tiles and missing sealant behind the taps.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If something is not right in that time, we come back and put it right.

Questions from Bunny
Do I have to be there?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You do not need to watch us work.
Do you hold any accreditations?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
Which areas do you work in?
Everywhere in the UK, Bunny included. There’s no extra charge for travel.
Why does my sealant keep splitting?
Usually because the bath or tray moves. We fill the bath before sealing it.
How much does bath resealing cost in Bunny?
Every job gets a fixed price based on pictures of the damage. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo with your NG11 postcode.
How do I stop mould in sealant?
Mostly moisture and poor ventilation. Mould-resistant silicone and good ventilation help.
What happens if you find more damage?
Your quote covers the damage in the photos. Anything extra is discussed before we begin.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.
For landlords and businesses
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Send the address, pictures and access details and we’ll arrange it.
Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs in Nottingham and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.
Repairs by material
Sinks and worktops
Basins, vanity units and kitchen worktops are resealed too, with the joint fully dried first.
Baths
Baths are resealed with water in them, to open the joint fully.

Is resealing worth it?
Sealing over old silicone is a false economy. It soon peels, and traps mould underneath. We remove the old sealant completely. We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
Honest limits
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- Rotten walls or floors behind the bath
- A flexing bath
- Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think before booking.
Surfaces we repair
- Baths
- Wet rooms
- Basins & vanity units
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Shower trays & enclosures
How it works
Arrival times are agreed in advance, so you know when to expect us. On site, it takes a couple of hours. The room is left tidy and you’ll know when it can be used.
- We cut out all of the old sealant.
- Residue is removed and the joint cleaned.
- Any mould is treated and the joint dried.
- The bath is filled with water, or weight put on the tray.
- We apply fresh mould-resistant silicone and tool a neat bead.
Before we arrive
- Open a window if you can
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
Getting a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.

Looking after it afterwards
Aftercare is simple:
- Open a window after bathing
- Replace the seal when mould sets in
- Store bottles on a shelf
- Wipe the joints dry after use
Leave the sealant to cure for the time we give you, normally about a day.
Mouldy sealant is more than a cosmetic problem, it’s a sign moisture is sitting in the joint. An early reseal keeps water where it belongs.
