Bath resealing at your home in East End

Resealing is quick, but it transforms the look. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they protect the walls and floor. Our technicians work on shower trays & enclosures, basins & vanity units and baths, and common reasons people contact us are stained silicone and a messy previous reseal.

Whatever the size of the job, you get the same one-year guarantee.

DIY kit or professional repair?

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is generally cheaper.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Resealing in East End: why it matters

A professional reseal costs little compared with water damage. It’s quick, tidy and protects your home. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before you book, with nothing added on the day.

What you get with us

  • Fixed prices from your photos
  • No need to remove anything
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • We leave the room as we found it

Baths

We fill the bath before sealing, so the joint is at its widest.

Shower trays

We put weight on a tray before sealing it, for the same reason.

Your questions about bath resealing in East End

How do I book?

A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.

Can new silicone go over old?

We always remove the old sealant completely. New silicone will not bond to old.

Is there a call-out fee?

No. Our quotes include travel, and we charge the same wherever you are.

What happens after I send pictures?

You get a fixed price and available dates. If anything’s unclear, we will ask for another photo.

Do you do work for letting agents?

We do, regularly. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.

Can tenants book a repair?

Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged before the end of a tenancy.

Can pets and children be at home?

We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work and until it has cured. The rest of the house is unaffected.

Why does the silicone keep cracking?

Normally because the bath or tray moves, or it was sealed with the bath empty. We seal baths full of water.

The process

From the moment we arrive, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. Surfaces nearby are masked off, the job takes around two hours, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.

  1. We cut out and remove all of the old sealant.
  2. We clean the joint and treat any mould.
  3. We make sure the joint is completely dry.
  4. We fill a bath with water before sealing so the gap is at its widest.
  5. New mould-resistant silicone goes on and is tooled to a neat finish, including around the taps.

Preparing for the visit

  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Have a window or extractor fan available

When to call us in East End

A bathroom without good ventilation is hard on sealant: damp hangs around, and mould grows faster.

You may need us if you’ve spotted:

  • Missing sealant behind the taps
  • Silicone coming away from the tiles
  • Black spots in the silicone
  • Stained silicone

What your quote should include

  • Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
  • How the colour is matched
  • What protection goes down before work starts
  • What happens if they find more damage

Choosing a repair company

Keeping it looking good

Aftercare is simple, and it makes a real difference:

  • Reseal when black spots won’t clean off
  • Keep bottles off the joints
  • Ventilate the bathroom well
  • Clean the joints with a mild cleaner

Good ventilation is the best protection, and wipe the joints after use.

Black mould in sealant is not just unsightly, it’s a sign moisture is sitting in the joint. An early reseal keeps water where it belongs.

When a repair is not the answer

Some jobs aren’t right for a repair, for example:

  • Water damage behind the bath that needs a builder
  • Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
  • A flexing bath

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer before booking.
