Bath resealing at your home in Foundry
Baths are resealed with water in them, so the joint opens fully, so the seal does not tear when the bath is first used. Our technicians work on kitchen worktops & sinks, baths and shower trays & enclosures, and the jobs we see most are unsealed corners and mould you can’t clean out.
We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee.

Can I fix it myself?
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
Landlord and trade work in Foundry
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.
What we can’t put right
We will always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair cannot fix:
- Water damage behind the bath that needs a builder
- A flexing bath
- Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before booking.
What we work on
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Wet rooms
- Basins & vanity units
- Shower trays & enclosures
- Baths
What affects the price in Foundry
Each job gets its own fixed price. This is what makes a difference:
- Access to the area
- Unusual colours or finishes
- How many areas need work
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
Compared with replacing, a repair is generally a fraction of the price, because there’s no removal, plumbing or making good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Send pictures for a quote
Two or three clear pictures are usually enough. Try to include:
- Any details about the material
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- One picture of the whole bath or shower
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
Upload photos of the damage and one of the entire item, with your TR27 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
Keeping it looking good
Most damage we see is avoidable. These habits help:
- Dry the seal after bathing
- Let steam out after showers
- Keep bottles off the joints
- Clean the joints with a mild cleaner
Use the extractor fan, wipe the joints dry after use, and clean them regularly with a mild cleaner to slow mould growth.
Do not wait until water gets behind the bath. Split or lifting sealant is a sign it’s time.

Is resealing worth it?
Putting new silicone over old doesn’t last. It peels within weeks, and traps mould underneath. We remove the old sealant completely. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.
