For landlords and businesses
Hospitality businesses cannot afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.
Letting agents often send us pictures straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
How we handle bath resealing in Putney
Baths are resealed with water in them, so the joint opens fully, so the seal does not tear when the bath is first used. Whether it’s silicone coming away from the tiles and gaps by the taps, we can help.
Big or small, you get the same one-year guarantee in Putney and across Greater London.

Common problems we fix in Putney
Even good sealant eventually discolours particularly in a well-used bathroom. Steam, soap and movement all wear it down.
Look out for these signs:
- An untidy old seal
- Damp near the bath
- Missing sealant behind the taps
- Mould you cannot clean out
What to look for in a quote
- What aftercare is recommended
- Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
- What protection goes down before work starts
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
Why reseal now?
Sealing over old silicone is a false economy. It peels within weeks, and traps mould underneath. A proper reseal removes the old first. A repair normally costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send pictures and we will give you the exact figure.

DIY kit or professional repair?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
How it works
Here’s how a visit typically runs: we arrive on time, sheet and mask the area around the job, carry out the work and clear up. Plan for about two hours for a bath. Before leaving, we tell you how long to leave it and how to look after it.
- We cut out all of the old sealant.
- We remove the residue and clean the joint.
- We treat mould and dry the joint thoroughly.
- The bath is filled with water, or weight put on the tray.
- We apply fresh mould-resistant silicone and tool a neat bead.
Before we arrive
- Open a window if you can
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings

What a repair cannot fix
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- Movement in the bath or tray
- Hollow or loose tiles
- Gaps too big for silicone alone
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before booking.
Surfaces we repair
- Wet rooms
- Shower trays & enclosures
- Baths
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Basins & vanity units
What affects the price in Putney
You won’t pay by the hour. The price is based on:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Doing more than one item at once
- The colour and finish to match
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before booking, with nothing added on the day.
Getting a price from photos
The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:
- Where you are, by postcode
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- A photo taken from further back
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote. There is no charge for the quote and you’re under no obligation.
Materials and what they mean for the repair
Shower trays
We put weight on a tray before sealing it, for the same reason.
Baths
Baths are resealed with water in them, so the joint is at its widest.
