Bath Resealing in Queniborough
Fixed-price bath resealing in Queniborough and the surrounding area, done in a single visit in most cases and guaranteed for a year.
- An untidy old seal
- Silicone coming away from the tiles
- Gaps by the taps

Aftercare tips
Looking after the surface is easy:
- Replace the seal when mould sets in
- Let steam out after showers
- Use the extractor fan
- Clean the sealant gently and regularly
Run the extractor fan, dry the joints after bathing, and give them a regular clean with a mild cleaner to slow mould growth.
Reseal before water gets in. Gaps or lifting edges mean it needs doing.
Bath resealing in Queniborough, done in place
A proper reseal starts with removing every trace of the old silicone. New silicone won’t bond to old, which is why so many DIY reseals peel. Whether it’s sealant that’s split or lifting and water getting behind the bath or tray, we can normally put it right, whatever the material.
You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Queniborough as everywhere else we work.

What affects the price in Queniborough
There’s no charge for travel to Queniborough. The price comes down to:
- How many items we do on one visit
- How hard the colour is to match
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- How many areas need work
There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Email us photos of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your LE7 postcode, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.

What information do you need?
Send photos through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we’ll take it from there.
Do you seal over the old sealant?
No, we never seal over old silicone. It’s removed, cleaned off and the joint dried first.
Do you cover Queniborough?
Yes. We work across the UK and travel to Queniborough and the rest of Leicestershire. Send us photos for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
How do I stop mould in sealant?
Mould needs moisture. Ventilation and drying keep it clean longer.
Is it messy?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.

How long does a reseal take?
Most reseals take about two hours. It then needs time to cure.

What else we do in Queniborough
Work for landlords and builders
Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Queniborough use us as well as householders. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it usually costs far less than a refit.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
What we can’t put right
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- Loose tiles, which need refixing first
- Gaps so wide they need filling or trims before sealing
- A flexing bath
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before you book.
Materials we repair
- Kitchen worktops & sinks
- Baths
- Shower trays & enclosures
- Wet rooms
- Basins & vanity units
Why reseal now?
Sealing over old silicone is a false economy. It peels within weeks, and mould stays trapped behind it. A proper reseal removes the old first. Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it.

The process
On the day, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. The job generally takes a couple of hours. We tidy up before we leave and let you know when you can use it again.
- First we strip out every bit of the old mastic.
- Next we clean the joint and deal with mould.
- The joint is dried thoroughly.
- Baths are filled with water first, so the joint is at its widest.
- We run a new bead of mould-resistant silicone and smooth it neatly, including around the taps.
Before we arrive
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Have a window or extractor fan available

Should I try a DIY kit first?
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.
