What a repair can’t fix

- Movement in the bath or tray
- Very wide gaps that need a trim
- Loose tiles, which need refixing first
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.

About our bath resealing in Tyler's Green
Resealing is quick, but it transforms the look. Clean, white joints make a bathroom look cared for, and they protect the walls and floor. Whether it’s black spots in the silicone and gaps in the seal, we can normally put it right, on wet rooms, shower trays & enclosures and baths alike.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back.

Your questions about bath resealing in Tyler's Green
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.
Do you come to Tyler's Green?
Yes. We cover the whole UK and travel to Tyler's Green. Send pictures and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Why does the silicone keep cracking?
The bath or tray is probably flexing. Persistent splitting can mean the support needs attention.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, so the repair is not disturbed while it cures.
When can I use the bath after resealing?
You’ll get the curing time from us, normally around a day.
Which areas do you work in?
We work UK-wide, so Tyler's Green is covered. Prices do not change with location.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first.
How quickly can you book me in?
We’ll give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
What bath resealing costs
Prices are worked out job by job. What matters most is:
- What kind of damage it is
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- Doing more than one item at once
- Unusual colours or finishes
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Tyler's Green. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Quotes from your photos
You can normally get a fixed quote without us visiting. To make it quick:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- Any details about the material
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire bath or shower, add your postcode and send them over. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.
What your bath or shower is made of matters
Sinks and worktops
We reseal basins, vanity tops and kitchen worktops, once the joint is completely dry.
Shower trays
We put weight on a tray before sealing it, so the joint is at its widest.
What we do, step by step
We agree an arrival time beforehand, so you’re not left guessing. Once we are there, the work takes about two hours for a bath for most jobs. The room is left tidy and ready to use once it has cured.
- We cut out and remove all of the old sealant.
- We clean the joint and treat any mould.
- The joint is dried thoroughly.
- We fill a bath with water before sealing so the gap is at its widest.
- We apply new mould-resistant silicone and tool it to a neat finish, taps included.
Getting ready for the visit
- Let us know about parking or access
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
- Point us to the nearest place to park
Ask for a price
You don’t need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

How to look after the repair
So the finish stays in good condition for years:
- Ventilate the bathroom well
- Clean the sealant gently and regularly
- Keep the joints dry
- Reseal at the first sign of lifting
Run the extractor fan, wipe the joints dry after use, and give them a regular clean with a mild cleaner to slow mould growth.
If you notice damp, stains on the ceiling below or loose tiles, act quickly. It may be more than a reseal, so we will tell you if it needs a builder or plumber.
Why it’s worth resealing in Tyler's Green
Sealing over old silicone is a false economy. It peels within weeks, and mould stays trapped behind it. We remove the old sealant completely. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.
