Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Admaston

A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for selling or letting a home with an old suite and faded or patchy colour, across whole bathroom suites, coloured shower trays and coloured basins.

All our work is covered by our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Telford and Wrekin. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.

Repair or replace in Admaston?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

Why us?

  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK

How it works

We work cleanly and quietly, so you can stay at home while we’re there. Protection goes down first, then the work takes one to two days for a full suite. Before we leave, we explain how soon it can be used and how to care for it.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. We leave everything to cure, generally until the day after.

How to prepare

  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
  • Make sure the room can be ventilated

Advice

Work for landlords and builders

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. We can visit several plots in one trip.

We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out pictures. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Prices start from £350. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price depends on:

  • Where the damage is and how we get to it
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • The colour and finish to match
  • Doing more than one item at once

The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before you book, with no extras added later.

Send pictures for a quote

It only takes a minute to photograph the damage. Try to send:

  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • A picture taken from further back

A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

When a repair is not the answer

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think.

Materials we repair

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites

Common problems we fix in Admaston

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.

Clients typically contact us about:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Before you book anyone

  • Who turns up on the day
  • What prep work is covered
  • What happens if they find more damage
  • What the guarantee covers, and for how long
