FAQs for Brigg
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
In most cases. We remove the old repair before doing a new one, so let us know about it.
How quickly can you book me in?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send photos with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll tell you what will last.
Will it make a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.
What areas do you cover?
All of North Lincolnshire, and the rest of the UK. Travel is included in the price.
What do you need from me?
Some photos, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, access to the room.
Can you quote from photos?
Generally, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed price.
Can you repair several things at once?
Of course, and it generally saves money. Just add the extra items to your photos and you will get one combined price.
Coloured bath resurfacing in Brigg without replacing anything
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. We are often asked to fix a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, across coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites.
You are covered after we leave: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we’ll explain exactly what it covers when we quote. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What happens on the day
There is not much you need to do on the day. Let us in and show us the room, and we will get on with it. The job generally runs to a day or two, depending on how many items, including clearing up.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the day after.
Getting ready for the visit
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Ensure the area is dry

For landlords and businesses
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, photos and access details.
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Common problems we fix in Brigg
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
It’s worth getting a quote if you see:
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
Questions to ask before you book
- How to look after the finish
- If travel is included in the price
- Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
What we can’t put right
Some jobs aren’t right for a repair, including:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Compared with replacing, a repair is typically a fraction of the price, because there’s no removal, plumbing or making good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Why us?
- Straight answers about what a repair can do
- Rooms protected and left tidy
- One-year guarantee on every repair
- Colour mixed on the day to match

DIY repairs versus a professional job
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Whether we combine several jobs
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
We charge the same wherever you are, so there is no premium for Brigg. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
How to get a fixed price
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:
- Any details about the material
- Natural light rather than flash
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A picture taken from further back
To get a price, send a couple of photos using our quote form or ring us. We’ll say right away if a repair is the right fix.
