Trusted coloured bath resurfacing in Deal

What affects the price in Deal

Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually, from your photos. The main factors are:

  • How much damage there is
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • The material and finish
  • Unusual colours or finishes

A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. You will see the full price before you book.

Quotes from your photos

Photographing the damage takes a minute. Please include:

  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit
  • A photo taken from further back
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare

Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a picture from further back, send them over with your postcode, and you will get a fixed price back. Quotes are free and you are under no obligation.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Deal, done in place

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We are frequently asked to fix faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and coloured shower trays.

You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Deal as everywhere else we work. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Can I fix it myself?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.

When to call us in Deal

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.

People typically call us when they notice something like this:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom

What to look for in a quote

  • Who will actually do the work
  • How soon you can use it again
  • Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
  • What the guarantee covers, and for how long

10 questions to ask before booking

Should you replace it?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Why book with us

  • Colour-matched on site
  • Normally one visit, start to finish
  • We leave the room as we found it
  • No need to remove anything

Read our pricing or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

How it works

Here’s how a visit generally runs: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and tidy away. Allow one to two days for a full suite. Before we go, we will explain how long to leave it and how to care for it.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. We leave everything to cure, normally until the day after.

Preparing for the visit

  • Point us to the nearest place to park
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Let us know if it has been repaired before

Getting a price

Advice

Work for landlords and builders

For anyone letting property in or around Deal, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send photos for each one and we’ll price them together.

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.

Honest limits

A repair isn’t right for every job, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.

What we work on

  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

Deal questions

Can I add another job to the visit?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include photos of each item.

Do you hold any accreditations?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Can you price it without visiting?

Yes, almost always. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed price.

How do I book?

Photos of the damage, a picture of the whole suite and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.

What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?

The price is fixed for what the pictures show. If there’s more, we will tell you before starting.

Is there any odour?

It depends on the job, but often a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum.

Do you come to Deal?

Yes. We work across the UK and travel to Deal. Send us pictures for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

Is it messy?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.
