Coloured bath resurfacing near Ironbridge

Coloured bath resurfacing in Ironbridge, done in place

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Whether it’s a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can generally put it right, on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins alike.

Peace of mind is built in: our one-year guarantee applies to every job, and we explain what it covers before you book. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Choosing a repair company

When we would advise against a repair

Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair will not do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before you book.

What we work on

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

Questions from Ironbridge

Can you price it without visiting?

In nearly every case. If pictures do not show enough, we’ll ask for another angle.

Is it messy?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.

What if the damage is worse than the photos show?

The price is fixed for what the pictures show. If there is more, we’ll tell you before starting.

Do you charge for travel?

There is no separate call-out charge. Your fixed price includes everything.

How do I get a price for coloured bath resurfacing in Ironbridge?

Resurfacing from £350. Because every job differs, we price from photos. You will get a fixed figure before booking.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Get your landlord’s agreement first.

Do you hold any accreditations?

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?

Most of the time. Let us know what was used before and we will plan for it.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Ironbridge. What changes the price is:

  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • What the surface is made of
  • Doing more than one item at once

We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Ironbridge. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Getting a price from pictures

Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To make it quick:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • One picture of the whole suite
  • The material, if you know it
  • Your postcode, so we can check dates

The quickest way to a price is to send two or three photos through our quote form or call us. We’ll tell you honestly whether it can be repaired.

Should you replace it?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. Compared with replacing, a repair is usually a fraction of the price, because there is no removal, plumbing or making good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor

The process

Arrival times are agreed in advance, so you are not left guessing. Once we’re there, the work takes a day or two, depending on how many items for most jobs. The room is left tidy and ready to use once it has cured.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.

Preparing for the visit

  • Let us know about parking or access
  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Open a window if you can
