Repair or replace in Sealand?
Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send photos and we will give you the exact figure.

The process
You don’t need to empty the room. We bring everything we need with us, put protection down and start once you’re happy with the plan. It usually takes one to two days for a full suite, and you’re welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Ensure the area is dry
Getting a price
Send us a picture of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, with your CH1 postcode, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.

When a repair is not the answer
A repair isn’t always the answer, and we would rather say so up front. Repairs will not solve:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think before you book.
Materials we repair
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Sealand
Is it safe with children and pets around?
Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we’re working in. We will tell you when the room can be used again.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it isn’t worth repairing, we will tell you.
Which areas do you work in?
We cover the whole UK, including Sealand and the rest of Cheshire West and Chester. Just include your postcode and we’ll offer you dates.
Do I have to be there?
We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll tell you what will last.
How soon can you come?
Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.
Is there a call-out fee?
We don’t add a call-out fee. Your fixed quote includes everything.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
In nearly every case. If pictures don’t show enough, we will ask for another angle.

DIY kit or professional repair?
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. There is no charge for travel to Sealand. The price comes down to:
- The material and finish
- What kind of damage it is
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it.
Getting a price from pictures
Phone pictures are fine, there’s no need for anything special. Ensure they show:
- Details of any past repairs
- Something in shot to show the size
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Where you are, by postcode
Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a photo from further back, send them over with your postcode, and you will get a fixed quote back. Quotes are free and no obligation.
