Coloured bath resurfacing in Stokesley without replacing anything
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Our technicians work on whole bathroom suites, coloured shower trays and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and the jobs we see most are selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in North Yorkshire. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

When we’d advise against a repair
Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits too:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.
Materials we repair
- Coloured basins
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
What we do, step by step
You do not need to empty the room beforehand. We bring everything we need with us, lay protective sheets and get going once we’ve agreed what we’re doing. It generally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you can get on with other things while we are there.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.
Getting ready for the visit
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
Ask for a price
You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.
Advice
Landlords, agents and businesses in Stokesley
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Hospitality businesses can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.
Prices and what affects them
Resurfacing from £350. There’s no area surcharge for Stokesley. What changes the price is:
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- The material
We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Stokesley. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Quotes from your pictures
Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To help us price it:
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- One picture of the entire suite
- What it’s made of, if you know
To get a price, send two or three pictures through our quote form or call us. We will say straight away whether it can be repaired.

Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in Stokesley
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.
Send us a photo if you notice any of these:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
Comparing quotes
- What happens if the damage is worse than the photos show
- What protection goes down before work starts
- How to look after the finish
- What prep work is covered
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send photos and you’ll get a fixed figure.

Can I fix it myself?
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
