Coloured bath resurfacing in The Quays

Coloured bath resurfacing in The Quays without replacing anything

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is usually done in one to two days. Typical jobs include a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, on whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in The Quays and everywhere else. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we look at:

  • Access to the area
  • How many areas need work
  • What the surface is made of
  • What kind of damage it is

Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Getting a price from pictures

The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:

  • Any details about the material
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • A clear, close picture of the problem area

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them to us with your postcode, and you’ll get a fixed quote back. Quotes are free and you are under no obligation.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

10 questions to ask before booking

How it works

When we visit, we arrive at the time we have agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take a day or two, depending on how many items. We clean up when we are done and let you know when you can use it again.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Each item is left to cure, generally ready the day after.

How to prepare

  • Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing

How to get a price

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, include your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed price, not an estimate.

Advice

Landlords, agents and businesses in The Quays

Letting agents often send us photos straight from the inventory. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.

For anyone letting property in or around The Quays, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Just send photos for each address and we will price them together.

Can I fix it myself?

If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

What a repair can’t fix

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

Surfaces we repair

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins

Can you repair something that is been repaired before?

Of course. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.

Is my repair covered?

Yes, for a year. If there’s a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
