Coloured bath resurfacing for Tircoed homes

Work for landlords and builders

For anyone letting property in or around Tircoed, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Send pictures for each one and we will price them together.

We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Tircoed as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it usually costs far less than a refit.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Tircoed without replacing anything

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is usually done in one to two days. We’re often asked to fix a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, on coloured shower trays, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

We guarantee the work for a year. If something is not right in that time, we come back and put it right. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Tircoed?

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s typically the colour that dates them, not the condition.

If you can see any of these, send us a photo:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour

Before you book anyone

  • What protection goes down before work starts
  • Whether the colour is mixed to match
  • What happens if they find more damage
  • Whether the price covers travel

Questions from Tircoed

Is it safe with children and pets around?

We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work. The rest of the house is unaffected.

Are there extra charges for Tircoed?

We don’t add a call-out fee. Your fixed quote includes everything.

Do you cover the entire of Swansea?

The whole UK, including all of Swansea. Just include your postcode and we’ll confirm dates.

Is my repair covered?

Yes: twelve months. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

Can you price it without visiting?

Yes, almost always. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.

Can you do the toilet too?

Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we’ll tell you what will last.

Is it messy?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.

What do you need from me?

A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.

When a repair isn’t the answer

A repair isn’t right for every job, for example:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before booking.

Materials we work on in Tircoed

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually, from your photos. The main factors are:

  • How many areas need work
  • What the surface is made of
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off

No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

Quotes from your pictures

Phone pictures are fine, there is no need for anything special. Make sure they show:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • A photo taken from further back
  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
  • Any details about the material

If you are in Tircoed and want a price, the easiest route is pictures: a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode. You will get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.

How the visit works

It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, cover and mask the work area, and get on with the job, which typically takes one to two days for a full suite. If we find something your photos didn’t show, we will explain it before carrying on.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. We leave everything to cure, typically until the following day.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Ensure the room can be ventilated
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive

Ask for a price

Send us a photo of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, and tell us you’re in Tircoed, and we will reply with a fixed quote.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
