Kitchen sink repair at your home in London

Every job is backed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Use a sink mat or bowl for heavy pans, and wipe door edges dry.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a sink or door can mean disturbing the worktop, cabinets and plumbing, or hunting for a door that’s no longer made. A repair leaves everything in place. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

Landlords, agents and businesses in London

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.

Letting agents often send us photos straight from the inventory. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.

What affects the price in London

Prices start from £95. We charge the same across the UK, including London. What changes the price is:

  • Access to the area
  • What the surface is made of
  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • How many items we do on one visit

It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

Getting a price from photos

We price nearly every job from photos. This is what to send:

  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • A photo taken from further back
  • Any details about the material
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job.

Questions from London

Can I add another job to the visit?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include pictures of each item.

It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?

Yes, regularly. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.

Does someone need to be in?

Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time that suits you.

What if the damage is worse than the photos show?

We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.

What happens once I’ve sent pictures?

We review the photos and send a fixed quote and the next dates we have.

Can you repair cupboard doors?

Yes. We repair chips, dents and scuffs on gloss, matt and wood-effect doors.

Will it make a mess?

Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.

Do you work for landlords and businesses?

We do, regularly. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.

The process

On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will get on with it. The job generally runs to a few hours, tidy-up included.

  1. We clean and prepare the damaged area.
  2. Next we fill the chips and rebuild any edges.
  3. We sand the repair to the original profile.
  4. We colour-match to the sink glaze or door finish.
  5. Finally we polish or seal it.

How to prepare

  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

How to get a price

Send us a picture of the damage and one of the entire item, with your CR0 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.

Advice

Can I fix it myself?

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
