Non-slip bath coating in Deal, done in place
It’s a clear, textured coating, so the bath looks much the same. It suits older people, families and holiday lets. Common call-outs are for worn-out textured areas and bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten, across acrylic baths, shower trays and enamelled baths.
All our work is covered by our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Kent. Clean with a soft brush and a mild cleaner. Don’t use abrasive pads on the textured area.

Can I fix it myself?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is usually the cheaper route.
What else we do in Deal
Prices and what affects them
We charge the same across the UK, including Deal. What changes the price is:
- The material and finish
- How hard the colour is to match
- How many areas need work
- What kind of damage it is
We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Getting a price from pictures
When you take your pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- Details of any past repairs
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from pictures: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.
Deal questions
Which areas do you work in?
Everywhere in the UK, Deal included. Travel is included in the price.
Is a repair better than a new one?
In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it isn’t worth repairing, we will tell you.
Do you hold any accreditations?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Can pets and children be at home?
Just keep them out of the work area. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit generally costs less than separate visits. Include photos of each item.
What information do you need?
A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.
Can you price it without visiting?
Generally, yes. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
Most of the time. Let us know what was used before and we will plan for it.
For landlords and businesses
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Deal as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send photos, the address and how to get access.
What we cannot put right
We will always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
Surfaces we repair
- Acrylic baths
- Shower trays
- Wet room floors (ask us)
- Enamelled baths
- Resurfaced baths
Should you replace it?
Instead, you could go for replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating treats your existing bath or tray. Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
What you get with us

What happens on the day
You do not need to empty the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and start once you’re happy with the plan. Most jobs take a morning or an afternoon, and you can get on with other things while we are there.
- We start by degreasing the area where you stand.
- We mask out the area to be treated.
- We apply the clear textured coating.
- We remove the masking for a neat edge.
- We leave it to cure, usually overnight.
Before we arrive
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
How to get a price
