Non-slip bath coating for Hoopers Pool homes

Landlords, agents and businesses in Hoopers Pool

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Wiltshire and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Just send photos, the address and how to get access and we will arrange it.

Non-slip bath coating at your home in Hoopers Pool

It suits older people, families and holiday lets. It’s a clear, textured coating, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. We regularly repair enamelled baths, resurfaced baths and acrylic baths, and the jobs we see most are resurfaced baths that are now too smooth and a bath or tray that is slippery when wet.

Every job is backed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. We return to put right any problem with the work. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Don’t use abrasive pads on the textured area.

Hoopers Pool: your questions answered

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes: twelve months. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

Will I see the coating?

Very little: the treated area looks slightly matt.

Can you repair several things at once?

Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Include photos of each item.

Will the price change on the day?

Your quote covers the damage in the pictures. If there’s more, we’ll tell you before starting.

It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?

Normally, yes. The old repair comes out first, so let us know about it.

Will it make a mess?

Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.

How do I get a price for non-slip bath coating in Hoopers Pool?

The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from pictures. You will get a fixed figure before you book.

Is it safe with children and pets around?

Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we’re working in. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

What a repair cannot fix

In fairness, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:

  • Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
  • Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
  • Outdoor surfaces

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Materials we work on in Hoopers Pool

  • Wet room floors (ask us)
  • Resurfaced baths
  • Acrylic baths
  • Enamelled baths
  • Shower trays

What we are called out for in Hoopers Pool

Baths and trays are made smooth so they’re easy to clean, but wet, soapy surfaces are slippery. Textured areas on older baths wear smooth too.

Send us a picture if you notice any of these:

  • Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
  • Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
  • A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
  • Worn-out textured areas

What to look for in a quote

  • If travel is included in the price
  • Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
  • What happens if the damage is worse than the pictures show
  • How long it needs to cure

Our hiring checklist

What affects the price in Hoopers Pool

There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:

  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • What the surface is made of
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it

Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

How to get a fixed quote

We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what to send:

  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Natural light rather than flash
  • Any details about the material

Email us a picture of the damage and one of the entire item, with your BA14 postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.

Repair or replace: which is better?

The alternatives are replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or a bath mat that needs lifting and cleaning. A non-slip coating adds grip to the bath you have. We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Hoopers Pool. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

What you get with us

  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • No extra charge for your area
  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor

What we do, step by step

Arrival times are agreed in advance. On site, it takes a few hours. The room is left tidy and ready to use once it has cured.

  1. We clean and degrease the standing area.
  2. The area to be treated is masked out.
  3. We apply the clear textured coating.
  4. We remove the masking for a neat edge.
  5. We leave it to cure, generally overnight.

How to prepare

  • Clear the area around the damage
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
