Non-slip bath coating in Langworthy, done in place
It’s a clear, textured coating, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. It suits homes with older or less mobile people, holiday lets and families. We regularly repair enamelled baths, wet room floors (ask us) and acrylic baths, and the jobs we see most are resurfaced baths that are now too smooth and bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten.
All our work comes with our one-year guarantee. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Do not use abrasive pads on the textured area.

How the visit works
There is not much you need to do on the day. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we’ll take it from there. Most visits take a morning or an afternoon, including clearing up.
- We clean and degrease the standing area.
- Next we mask off the area.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
- We leave it to cure, typically overnight.
How to prepare
- Open a window if you can
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Keep a parking space free if you can

FAQs for Langworthy
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Yes. Doing several items on one visit generally costs less than separate visits. Include pictures of each item.
Will there be a smell?
There can be some smell while we work, which is why we ventilate. It fades as everything cures.
Do you work in Langworthy?
Yes. We work across the UK and come to Langworthy. Send photos and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Do you charge for travel?
We do not add a call-out fee. Your fixed quote includes everything.
Will I see the coating?
Very little: the treated area looks slightly matt.
Will it make a mess?
We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and we clean up when we’ve finished.
Is a non-slip bath easy to clean?
Yes. Use a soft brush and a mild cleaner.
How soon can you come?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send pictures with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.
Repair or replace: which is better?
Instead, you could go for replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or relying on a mat that needs lifting and cleaning. A coating adds grip to the bath you have. Instead of hourly rates, we price the whole job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

How we price non-slip bath coating
Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- How easy the damage is to reach
- The material and finish
- What kind of damage it is
- Whether we combine several jobs
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Langworthy. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Send photos for a quote
Before you send pictures, a few simple things make all the difference:
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- A photo taken from further back
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- Natural light rather than flash
You do not need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.

DIY kit or professional repair?
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
For landlords and businesses
Letting agents often send us pictures straight from the inventory. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
