What we cannot put right

A repair isn’t always the answer, and we will tell you before we start. We can’t fix:

  • Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
  • Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
  • Outdoor surfaces

If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before you book.

What we work on

  • Acrylic baths
  • Resurfaced baths
  • Wet room floors (ask us)
  • Shower trays
  • Enamelled baths

Non-slip bath coating in Sale without replacing anything

The coating is clear and textured, so the bath looks much the same. It’s popular with homes with older or less mobile people, holiday lets and families. If you’re dealing with worn-out textured areas and bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten, we can help, on wet room floors (ask us), acrylic baths and resurfaced baths alike.

Every job is backed for twelve months in Sale and everywhere else. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

What non-slip bath coating costs

There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:

  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • How many areas need work
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • What the surface is made of

It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

Quotes from your photos

You can typically get a fixed price without us visiting. To make it quick:

  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • A picture taken from further back
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale

Send us photos of the damage and one of the whole item, and tell us you are in Sale, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.

Signs you need non-slip bath coating in Sale

Smooth surfaces are easy to clean, but with soap and water on them they become slippery. The textured patch on an older bath also wears down over time.

It’s worth getting a quote if you see:

  • A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
  • Worn-out textured areas
  • Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
  • Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth

What to look for in a quote

  • If travel is included in the price
  • Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
  • When it can be used again
  • How changes to the job are handled

Our hiring checklist

Work for landlords and builders

Hospitality businesses can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.

Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.

How it works

Once we’re through the door, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. We mask off everything nearby, the work takes a few hours, depending on what we find, and we finish with a tidy-up and a look at the finished work together.

  1. We start by degreasing the area where you stand.
  2. The area to be treated is masked out.
  3. The clear textured coating is applied.
  4. We remove the masking for a neat edge.
  5. Once it has cured, normally overnight, it’s ready.

Before we arrive

  • Clear the area around the damage
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit

Getting a price

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them to us with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote. There’s no charge for the quote and no obligation.

Advice

Can I fix it myself?

If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

Repair or replace in Sale?

The alternatives are replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or a bath mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating adds grip to the bath you have. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking, with no extras added later.

Why Sale customers choose us
