Non-slip bath coating at your home in Stonehouse
It’s popular with older people, families and holiday lets. The coating is clear and textured, so the bath looks much the same. We work on enamelled baths, wet room floors (ask us) and resurfaced baths, and the jobs we see most are resurfaced baths that are now too smooth and worn-out textured areas.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. We return to put right any problem with the work. Clean with a soft brush and a mild cleaner. Avoid scourers on the coating.

What a repair cannot fix
Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think.
Materials we repair
- Enamelled baths
- Wet room floors (ask us)

Landlord and trade work in Stonehouse
We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, pictures and access details and we’ll handle the rest.
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
The process
From the moment we arrive, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. We mask off everything nearby, the job takes a few hours, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.
- We start by degreasing the area where you stand.
- We mask out the area to be treated.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
- We leave it to cure, typically overnight.
How to prepare
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Open a window if you can
Ask for a price
We price from pictures so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and we will come back with a fixed figure.

Your questions about non-slip bath coating in Stonehouse
How do I book?
Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787, and we will take it from there.
Do you do work for letting agents?
Yes. We carry out repairs for homeowners, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses across Cornwall.
Can you price it without visiting?
Nearly always. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures cannot show what we need.
Will it make a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.
Do you hold any accreditations?
We’re accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.
Will I see the coating?
Very little: the treated area looks slightly matt.
What areas do you cover?
Everywhere in the UK, Stonehouse included. Travel is included in the price.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Generally, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids removal and making good. If replacing would be better, we will say so.
How we price non-slip bath coating
There’s no charge for travel to Stonehouse. The price comes down to:
- Doing more than one item at once
- Unusual colours or finishes
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How many areas need work
A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
How to get a fixed quote
Phone pictures are fine, there is no need for anything special. Make sure they show:
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- What it’s made of, if you know
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- One picture of the entire bath or shower tray
Send us a picture of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your PL1 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Instead, you could go for a new textured bath or tray, or a bath mat that needs lifting and cleaning. A coating adds grip to the bath you have. Instead of hourly rates, we price the whole job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

Can I fix it myself?
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
