How we price shower tray repair
Prices start from £95. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:
- What the surface is made of
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Whether we combine several jobs
Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Bradford. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
How to get a fixed quote
Good photos mean an accurate price. Here’s what helps:
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- A wider photo showing the whole shower tray
- Where you are, by postcode
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the whole shower tray, include your postcode and send them over. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.
Looking after it afterwards
Aftercare is simple:
- Do not stand heavy bottles on the tray
- Stick to gentle cleaners
- Check the seal every few months
- Give the tray a quick rinse after use
Rinse the tray down after showering, use mild, non-abrasive cleaners, and keep an eye on the sealant so water can’t get underneath.
Every shower forces a little water into a crack, which can damage the floor over time. An early repair is far cheaper than floor repairs.

Signs you need shower tray repair in Bradford
Stone resin trays are rigid, so they crack rather than bend if the floor beneath them is not flat and fully supported. Timber floors that move can cause it too.
Send us a picture if you notice any of these:
- Damage around the waste
- A cracked shower tray
- A tray that flexes
- Scratches in the surface
Before you book anyone
- Aftercare advice
- What preparation is included
- If travel is included in the price
- Whether they match the colour on site
What a repair cannot fix
Some jobs are not right for a repair, for example:
- Damage below the tray that needs a builder
- Leaks from the waste or pipework (a plumber’s job)
- A tray that moves underfoot
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a tray usually means refitting the screen, retiling and resealing. Repairing it avoids all of that and costs far less. Prices start from £95. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

How it works
Here’s how a visit normally runs: we arrive on time, sheet and mask the area around the job, do the job and tidy away. Plan for a few hours, or most of the day to resurface the whole tray. Before leaving, we tell you when it can be used and what to avoid for the first few days.
- We ensure the tray does not flex and look for the cause of any crack.
- Next we clean and prepare the tray.
- We fill and strengthen any chips or cracks and sand them smooth.
- The repair is colour-matched, or the whole tray gets a new finish.
- We leave it to cure; the shower is usually usable the day after.
How to prepare
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
How to get a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.
Advice
For landlords and businesses
If you manage property in Bradford, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Just send pictures for each address and we’ll come back with a combined price.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

Different materials, different repairs
Stone resin
Stone resin trays are heavy and rigid with a gel-coat finish. They crack if the base is not fully supported, and chips can be filled and matched.
Acrylic
Acrylic trays are lighter and slightly flexible, so a firm base is essential. Cracks and scratches can be repaired.
