Shower tray repair at your home in Gogledd Corneli
Every crack has a cause, and we find it first. A tray that moves needs its support sorting first, so the repair lasts. If you are dealing with snagging damage in a new bathroom and a cracked shower tray, we can generally put it right, on ceramic, enamelled steel and acrylic alike.

What we can’t put right
We will always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair won’t do:
- Trays cracked in several places
- Movement caused by a poor base, until the support is fixed
- Rotten or damaged flooring underneath
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Stone resin
- Cast iron
- Ceramic
- Acrylic
- Enamelled steel
Why repair rather than replace?
Trays sit under the screen and tiles, so taking one out disturbs a lot. A repair keeps everything as it is. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

How it works
We agree an arrival time beforehand. Once we are there, the work takes a few hours, or most of a day for a full resurface. The room is left tidy and you’ll know when it can be used.
- We protect the floor and the enclosure.
- Old sealant is removed if it’s in the way.
- We clean and key the tray, then repair the damage.
- The surface is refinished to match.
- We tidy up and tell you when you can shower.
Before we arrive
- Open a window if you can
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
How to get a price
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the shower tray, add your postcode and send them to us. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

Gogledd Corneli questions
Do you work in Gogledd Corneli?
Yes, we do. Technicians travel to Gogledd Corneli from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.
Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?
Most of the time. Let us know what was used before and we will plan for it.
Do you reseal the tray as well?
We can. After a repair is a good time to reseal.
Can landlords book you?
Yes, often. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.
Is it OK to use a cracked tray?
It’s best to stop using it until it’s checked, because water may be getting underneath.
Can you quote from photos?
Normally, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.
How quickly can you book me in?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send pictures with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.
Can you make an old tray look new?
Yes. A full resurface makes a tired tray look fresh.
What shower tray repair costs
Prices start from £95. You will know the full cost before booking. We look at:
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How hard the colour is to match
- How many areas need work
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Quotes from your pictures
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what we need:
- One picture of the entire shower tray
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
We price from pictures so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and we will come back with a fixed figure.
Looking after it afterwards
To keep it looking its best for years:
- Reseal when the silicone splits or turns black
- Don’t stand heavy bottles on the tray
- Keep the bathroom well ventilated
- Keep harsh chemicals off the tray
Wait the full curing time before you shower. After that, mild cleaners and good ventilation are all it needs.
A small crack lets in a little water every time you shower, which can damage the floor over time. An early repair is far cheaper than floor repairs.

Signs you need shower tray repair in Gogledd Corneli
Trays crack mainly because they move: if a tray wasn’t bedded on a solid, even base, every shower puts strain on it. Dropped bottles cause most chips.
These are the problems we’re asked about most:
- A cracked shower tray
- Scratches from cleaning or grit
- Damage from a refit or building work
- A tray that flexes
Before booking anyone
- How soon you can use it again
- Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
- Who turns up on the day
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
Different materials, different repairs
Enamelled steel
Enamelled steel trays behave like steel baths. Chips can rust if they’re left, so it’s worth repairing early.
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it relies on good support. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
