Landlords, agents and businesses in Reiss
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. Several plots can be done in one visit.
How we handle toilet chip repair in Reiss
Chips are rebuilt and colour matched to the glaze, so you don’t need a plumber or a new toilet. A crack that leaks can’t be fixed with a cosmetic repair, and we’ll tell you if that’s what we find. Typical jobs include pieces knocked off during fitting and chips on the pan or rim, in cisterns & lids, porcelain and pedestals.
Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Highland. Take care with heavy items and clean the outside of the pan gently.

Do you need toilet chip repair in Reiss?
Most toilet chips happen while the bathroom is being fitted, or from a dropped lid or bottle. Cistern lids get chipped surprisingly often.
These are the problems we’re asked about most:
- Pieces knocked off during fitting
- Marks on the outside of the pan
- Damage from dropped items
- Chips on the cistern lid
Questions to ask before you book
- Aftercare advice
- How the room is protected while they work
- Whether they match the colour on site
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a toilet means a plumber and possibly new flooring, and a matching cistern may no longer be made. A repair leaves it in place. Prices start from £95. A repair generally costs much less than people expect, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send photos and we’ll give you the exact figure.

Advice
Questions from Reiss
What information do you need?
Photos of the damage, a photo of the entire toilet and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.
Can you repair several things at once?
Of course, and it normally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and you’ll get one combined price.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Will it make a mess?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.
Do the materials smell?
It depends on the job, but often a little. Open windows and an extractor fan help.
Can a chipped toilet be fixed?
Yes. Chips to the pan, rim, cistern and lid are the most common jobs.
I rent my home. Can I book you?
We can work for tenants, landlords or agents. Just make sure the landlord agrees.
What areas do you cover?
We cover the entire UK, including Reiss and the rest of Highland. Send your postcode with your pictures and we’ll confirm dates.
Can I fix it myself?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.

When we would advise against a repair
We won’t take on work that will not last, so here’s what a repair can’t put right:
- A crack that leaks water
- A crack through the bowl or trap
- A loose pan or leaking seal (that’s a plumbing job)
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think.
