Worktop Repair for Appley homes
Problem with your worktop in Appley? We repair it in place, mix the colour on the day and guarantee the work for a year.
- Repairs from £95
- Damage to a stone worktop
- Chipped corners

Work for landlords and builders
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
Worktop repair in Appley, done in place
A worktop repair is carried out in your kitchen, with the rest of the kitchen protected. Most repairs take a few hours, and the worktop can be used again soon after. We are often asked to fix a dent from a dropped pan and scorch marks from pans, across solid surface (such as Corian), solid wood and quartz.
Every job is backed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. We return to put right any problem with the work.

How it works
We begin by going over the job with you, so there are no surprises. Then the area is sheeted and masked and the work begins. It normally takes a few hours, depending on the damage.
- First we look at the damage and what the worktop is made of.
- Next we clean up and prepare the damaged area.
- We fill the damage with a suitable filler and build up any lost edge.
- We recreate the colour and pattern by hand.
- We seal or finish the surface to suit the worktop.
How to prepare
- Let us know about parking or access
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Let us know which floor the room is on
Getting a price

Can I fix it myself?
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
Appley: your questions answered
What happens after I send photos?
We come back with a fixed quote, plus dates. There’s no obligation to book.
Do you cover the entire of Isle of Wight?
The entire UK, including all of Isle of Wight. Just include your postcode and we’ll offer you dates.
Do you come to Appley?
Yes. We work across the UK and come to Appley. Send photos and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Is a burnt worktop repairable?
Usually. A picture lets us check.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, so the repair is not disturbed while it cures.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
Generally, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed price.
Will there be a smell?
It depends on the job, but frequently a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum, and it soon fades.
Will you leave a mess?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and we clean up when we have finished.

How we price worktop repair
Prices start from £95. A fixed quote means you know the cost before you book. We take into account:
- What kind of damage it is
- How easy the damage is to reach
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- The material
Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
Quotes from your photos
It only takes a minute to photograph the damage, and it saves a visit. Try to send:
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- One picture of the entire worktop
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
If you’re in Appley and want a price, photos are the quickest way: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. We reply with a fixed quote and our next available dates.
