Bath Re-enamelling for Anglesey homes
Bath re-enamelling in and around Anglesey: photo quotes, tidy work and a year’s guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Worn patches where water runs and sits
- An outdated colour you’d like to change

Keeping it looking good
To keep it looking its best for years:
- Keep toiletries on a shelf rather than in the bath
- Have chips seen to early
- Avoid suction-cup mats
- Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent
Dry the bath after use if possible, especially in hard water areas, and rinse away any product left on the surface.
Rust spots on a worn bath get worse with time. It’s simpler to resurface before they spread.
About our bath re-enamelling in Anglesey
After re-enamelling, the bath has a smooth, glossy, new-looking surface, but without the cost and upheaval of a refit. It suits anyone happy with the bathroom apart from the bath. We regularly repair acrylic baths, cast iron baths and pressed steel baths, and common reasons people contact us are stains that won’t shift and a bath that stays dull however much you clean it.
Every job is backed for twelve months in Anglesey and everywhere else. We return to put right any problem with the work.

What else we do in Anglesey
DIY repairs versus a professional job
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.
What a repair cannot fix
A repair isn’t always the answer, and we will tell you before we start. We can’t fix:
- Anything hidden under an old coating, until we remove it
- A cast iron or steel bath that’s cracked right through
- Holes rusted through the metal
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Victorian roll-tops
- Pressed steel baths
- Basins & shower trays
- Cast iron baths
- Acrylic baths
What affects the price in Anglesey
Prices start from £350. There is no area surcharge for Anglesey. The price reflects:
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- The material
- How hard the colour is to match
- Whether we combine several jobs
No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
How to get a fixed price
We price nearly every job from photos. This is what we need:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- A picture taken from further back
No survey visit is needed: we price from photos. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you’ll get a fixed figure back.
Common questions in Anglesey
Do you cover Anglesey?
We do. Repair technicians travel to Anglesey from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.
What does bath re-enamelling cost?
Resurfacing from £350. We give a fixed price based on photos of the damage. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo and your postcode.
Is repairing better than replacing?
Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.
Can you price it without visiting?
Yes, almost always. Clear photos let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.
Does someone need to be in?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You do not need to watch us work.
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged before the end of a tenancy.
What do you need from me?
Send photos through the quote form or call 0345 017 0787, and we’ll do the rest.
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Yes, and it’s frequently cheaper. Send pictures of everything together and we’ll quote them together.
What we’re called out for in Anglesey
Many baths we resurface have simply been well used, and only the surface is worn. Underneath, a cast iron or steel bath is usually as strong as ever.
You may need us if you’ve spotted:
- Staining under the taps and around the waste
- Chips and rust in more than one place
- A peeling or bubbling previous coating
- An original cast iron bath that needs restoring
What your quote should include
- How long the guarantee is and what it covers
- How the room is protected while they work
- Whether there are any call-out or travel charges
- A fixed price, and whether VAT is included
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a bath can take several days across several trades. Re-enamelling is one technician, generally one day, with the bath back in use the next day. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A repair typically costs much less than people expect, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send pictures and we’ll give you the exact figure.

How the visit works
Once we are through the door, we keep the work contained to the one room. We mask off everything nearby, the work takes a full day, depending on what we find, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.
- We sheet, mask and ventilate the room.
- We remove the old silicone and deep clean the bath.
- We repair chips, rust spots and pitting.
- We key the bath and apply a bonding primer.
- Several coats of finish are sprayed on, then it cures until the following day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Make sure the area is dry
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
How to get a price
You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.
