Bath re-enamelling in Eversley Centre without replacing anything
We re-enamel plenty of period and roll-top baths, which would be difficult and expensive to replace. Doing them in place keeps an original feature. We regularly repair acrylic baths, pressed steel baths and basins & shower trays, and the jobs we see most are a coloured bath you want in white and stains that won’t shift.
You’re covered after we leave: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we explain what it covers before booking.

How the visit works
Nothing needs to be moved out of the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and start once you’re happy with the plan. It normally takes a full day, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.
- The bathroom is protected and ventilation set up.
- We remove the old silicone and deep clean the bath.
- We repair chips, rust spots and pitting.
- The surface is keyed and primed for the new finish.
- Several coats of finish are sprayed on, then it cures until the day after.
How to prepare
- Open a window if you can
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Keep a parking space free if you can

Different materials, different repairs
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are the classic candidate for re-enamelling. They’re built to last, and only the surface wears, so a new finish makes them look new again.
Acrylic
We resurface acrylic baths as well, with a coating system suited to acrylic. It must be solid and not flex underfoot for the finish to last.
Should you replace it?
Replacement only makes sense in a few cases: if the bath is cracked through, if you want a different size or shape, or if you’re refitting the entire room anyway. In most other cases, resurfacing is the better choice. Our bath re-enamelling starts from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
What you get with us

What a repair can’t fix
Before you book, it’s worth knowing the limits:
- A poorly supported acrylic bath, until it’s firmed up
- Leaking taps or wastes (a plumber’s job)
- A metal bath with a through crack
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think before you book.
Materials we work on in Eversley Centre
- Acrylic baths
- Pressed steel baths
- Cast iron baths
- Victorian roll-tops
- Basins & shower trays
Keeping it looking good
After the repair has cured, a few habits help it last:
- Don’t leave bottles, razors or sponges standing on the surface
- Stick to gentle, non-abrasive cleaners
- Keep suction mats out of the bath
- Wash away dyes and oils after use
A quick rinse and wipe after use helps, especially in hard water areas, to stop limescale building up.
Do not try to scrub a worn bath back to shine. It just wears the enamel further and makes resurfacing more work.

How we price bath re-enamelling
Prices start from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- Access to the area
- Whether we combine several jobs
- How hard the colour is to match
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is typically a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you’re paying for.
Quotes from your pictures
We price nearly every job from photos. This is what we need:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Any details about the material
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- Natural light rather than flash
If you’re in Eversley Centre and want a price, the easiest route is photos: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. You will get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.
Landlord and trade work in Eversley Centre
Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs in Hampshire and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.
Can I fix it myself?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
