Bath Re-enamelling for Harray homes
Fixed-price bath re-enamelling in Harray and the surrounding area, generally in one visit and guaranteed for a year.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Lots of chips and rust spots
- A peeling or bubbling previous coating

Why repair rather than replace?
A replacement frequently means several trades over several days. Resurfacing takes one technician and typically a day, and the bath is usable the day after. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Bath re-enamelling in Harray without replacing anything
Most baths are re-enamelled in a day, and you can use the bath the following day. Taps, tiles, panels and plumbing all stay in place. Typical jobs include wear marks under the taps and lots of chips and rust spots, on acrylic baths, pressed steel baths and cast iron baths.
The work is covered for a year after we finish. If anything is not right, ring us and we’ll sort it.

What bath re-enamelling costs
Resurfacing from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:
- How easy the damage is to reach
- The type of damage
- The size and number of damaged areas
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. You will see the full price before booking.
Send photos for a quote
Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- Details of any past repairs
- A wider photo showing the whole bath
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Something in shot to show the size
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us photos through the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can give you a fixed price the same day in most cases.
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send photos, as it can add time.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.
What we cannot put right
We will not take on work that won’t last, so these are the limits:
- Damage hidden under a previous coating, until it’s stripped back
- Holes rusted through the metal
- A poorly supported acrylic bath, until it’s firmed up
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.
What we work on
- Victorian roll-tops
- Acrylic baths
- Cast iron baths
- Basins & shower trays
- Pressed steel baths
What we do, step by step
Once we are through the door, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. We mask off everything nearby, the job takes most of the day, depending on what we find, and we finish with a tidy-up and a look at the finished work together.
- First we look the bath over and confirm the finish.
- Everything around the bath is masked and covered.
- The bath is degreased, repaired and keyed.
- Primer and finish coats are applied.
- We remove the masking, tidy up and give you the curing time.
How to prepare
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Clear the area around the damage
- Let the surface dry out before the visit

There is no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

What your bath is made of matters
Acrylic
Acrylic feels warm and is light, but it relies on good support. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
Roll-top and period baths
We can resurface a roll-top inside and out, with the outside refinished as well.
What we are called out for in Harray
Once enamel loses its gloss, it stains more easily, and scrubbing it wears it down further. At that stage, resurfacing is the fix.
Send us a picture if you notice any of these:
- A bath in a colour that no longer suits
- An original cast iron bath that needs restoring
- A bath that stays dull however much you clean it
- Thin, worn enamel in places
Questions to ask before you book
