Bath Re-enamelling in Llansannan
Problem with your bath in Llansannan? We repair it in place, mix the colour on the day and back it with a one-year guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Stains that will not shift
- A period or roll-top bath worth keeping

DIY repairs versus a professional job
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.
Bath re-enamelling in Llansannan without replacing anything
If your bath is sound but looks tired, re-enamelling is typically the most cost-effective option. There is no removal, plumbing or tiling involved. We are frequently asked to fix wear marks under the taps and lots of chips and rust spots, across cast iron baths, acrylic baths and basins & shower trays.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in Llansannan and everywhere else. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back.

The process
We agree an arrival time beforehand. On site, it takes most of the day in most cases. We leave the room clean and you’ll know when it can be used.
- We check the bath and agree the finish with you.
- Everything around the bath is masked and covered.
- The bath is degreased, repaired and keyed.
- We apply the primer and then the finish coats.
- The masking comes off, we tidy up and tell you when it can be used.
Preparing for the visit
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
- Point us to the nearest place to park
Getting a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.

Questions from Llansannan
How soon can you come?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. We will offer you dates when we send your quote.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
Generally, yes. We remove the old repair before doing a new one, so mention it when you send pictures.
Can you repair several things at once?
Of course, and it generally saves money. Just add the extra items to your photos and we’ll quote them together.
What if the damage is worse than the photos show?
Your quote covers the damage in the photos. If there’s more, we will tell you before starting.
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time we agree with you.
Do you cover Llansannan?
Yes, we do. We send a technician to Llansannan for every job, with no extra charge for travel.
Someone resurfaced my bath and it’s peeling. Can you help?
In most cases. The old coating comes off before we resurface it. Mention it when you send pictures.
Is my repair covered?
Yes: twelve months. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.
Different materials, different repairs
Roll-top and period baths
Freestanding roll-tops can be done inside and out, and the outside can be refinished too.
Pressed steel
Steel baths re-enamel well, once any rust has been treated. Steel often rusts by the plughole, so we check it carefully.
How to look after the repair
How the surface is treated afterwards matters. Here’s what we suggest:
- Do not use the bath until it has fully cured
- Fix dripping taps quickly
- Wipe the bath dry after use in hard water areas
- Store bottles off the bath
Treat the new finish gently at first: let it cure fully, then use mild cleaners only. After that, no abrasives and no suction mats.
Leave a peeling coating alone. Water gets under it and the damage spreads, so it’s better to have it stripped and redone.
When we would advise against a repair
Some jobs aren’t right for a repair, for example:
- Anything hidden under an old coating, until we remove it
- Leaking taps or wastes (a plumber’s job)
- A poorly supported acrylic bath, until it’s firmed up
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.

Why repair rather than replace?
Getting a cast iron bath out is hard work: they’re heavy, often need breaking up, and a new one isn’t cheap. Re-enamelling avoids all of it. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
What you get with us

- CHAS and Constructionline accredited

Work for landlords and builders
We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send photos, the address and how to get access and we’ll arrange it.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.
How we price bath re-enamelling
Resurfacing from £350. We don’t charge extra for travel to Llansannan. The price comes down to:
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- The colour and finish to match
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How many areas need work
Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Llansannan. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Getting a price from pictures
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what we need:
- Details of any past repairs
- A photo taken from further back
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
The quickest way to a price is to send two or three pictures using our quote form or call us. We’ll say straight away if a repair is the right fix.
