For landlords and businesses
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Wiltshire and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.
About our bath re-enamelling in Rowde
We re-enamel a lot of period and roll-top baths, which would be difficult and expensive to replace. Doing them in place keeps an original feature. If you are dealing with staining under the taps and around the waste and thin, worn enamel in places, we can usually put it right, whatever the material.
Every job is backed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back.

How we price bath re-enamelling
Resurfacing from £350. We give every job a fixed quote from pictures. This is what makes a difference:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Whether we combine several jobs
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- How easy the damage is to reach
Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.
Send photos for a quote
The better the photos, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
Send us pictures of the damage and one of the entire item, with your SN10 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
How it works
There is not much you need to do on the day. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we’ll take it from there. Most visits take a full day.
- We sheet, mask and ventilate the room.
- We remove the old silicone and deep clean the bath.
- Chips, rust and pitting are repaired.
- We key the bath and apply a bonding primer.
- Several coats of finish are sprayed on, then it cures until the day after.
Preparing for the visit
- Clear the area around the damage
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Let us know about parking or access
Ask for a price
We price from photos so you don’t have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.
Advice
Do you need bath re-enamelling in Rowde?
Enamel’s shine is only skin deep, and every scrub with an abrasive cleaner takes a little away. After years of use, the surface becomes porous and stains easily.
Keep an eye out for any of the following:
- A coloured bath you want in white
- Staining under the taps and around the waste
- A peeling or bubbling previous coating
- A roll-top that is seen better days
What your quote should include
- Aftercare advice
- How soon you can use it again
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
Rowde questions
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Of course. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
Generally, yes. Let us know what was used before.
Can you quote from pictures?
Yes, almost always. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.
Is a repair better than a new one?
Normally, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time we agree with you.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes, often. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.
Do you cover the entire of Wiltshire?
Across the UK, so Rowde is covered. Our prices are the same everywhere.
Can you do the outside of a roll-top?
Yes, frequently. We resurface the inside, and the outside can be refinished too.

What else we do in Rowde
Repair or replace: which is better?
If you like your bathroom but not your bath’s surface, re-enamelling is the least disruptive fix. Nothing else is disturbed. Prices start from £350. A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Honest limits
A repair is not right for every job, for example:
- Damage hidden under a previous coating, until it’s stripped back
- An acrylic bath that flexes badly underfoot
- A cast iron or steel bath that is cracked right through
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.
Materials we repair
- Pressed steel baths
- Acrylic baths
- Basins & shower trays
- Victorian roll-tops
- Cast iron baths
Keeping it looking good
Once the work has cured, treat it gently:
- Don’t leave bottles, razors or sponges standing on the surface
- Respect the curing time we give you
- A quick wipe after use keeps limescale away
- Have chips seen to early
Avoid hair dye, bath bombs and oils sitting on the surface, because they can mark the finish. Fix dripping taps quickly.
If a previous coating is starting to peel, do not pick at it. Water gets under it and the damage spreads, so have it stripped and resurfaced.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.
