Why repair rather than replace?
For damage in one or two places, a repair is the obvious choice. It’s a fraction of the cost of a new bath and fitting, it takes one visit, and nothing else in the room changes. Our bath repair starts from £95. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before you book, with no extras added later.
What you get with us
- Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- Same prices wherever you are
- Straight answers about what a repair can do
- Usually one visit, start to finish

How we handle bath repair in City Dulas
You do not need a new bath because of a chip. Our technicians fill, shape and refinish the damage, mixing the colour on the day so the repair is hard to spot. Typical jobs include a failed DIY repair that’s discoloured or lifting and rusty patches near the plughole, on roll-top & freestanding, pressed steel enamel and whirlpool & spa baths.
All our work comes with a one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Isle of Anglesey.

Aftercare tips
To keep it looking its best:
- Cover the bath during DIY or decorating
- Have new chips seen to early
- Use a soft cloth and washing-up liquid for everyday cleaning
- Rinse the bath after use, especially in hard water areas
Clean with mild, non-abrasive cleaners and try not to drop heavy bottles on the repair. Deal with new chips early, before rust can start.
Rust spreads under enamel faster than most people expect. Left for months, a small chip can grow into a large rust patch, so it pays to deal with it early.

What else we do in City Dulas
Can I fix it myself?
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
Common problems we fix in City Dulas
Nearly all the chips we see start with something being dropped: bottles, shower heads, tiles and tools. On enamelled baths, any chip down to the metal lets water in, and rust follows.
You may need us if you’ve spotted:
- Chips along the edge of the bath
- A chip where the taps sit
- Scuffs and scratches in the surface
- Rust by the waste and overflow
What your quote should include
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
- Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
- How long it needs to cure

What a repair can’t fix
To be straight with you, some problems need a different fix:
- A bath that moves underfoot, until its support is fixed
- Water coming from the waste or taps rather than the bath
- A bath worn all over, where resurfacing makes more sense
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before booking.
Materials we repair
- Pressed steel enamel
- Acrylic
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Cast iron enamel
- Roll-top & freestanding
What your bath is made of matters
Pressed steel
Pressed steel is thinner and lighter, with an enamel finish like cast iron. Exposed steel rusts fast, particularly by the plughole, so early repairs matter.
Cast iron
A cast iron bath is heavy enough that most people never want to move it. The enamel is the part that wears or chips, and that is what we repair.
What we do, step by step
Arrival times are agreed in advance, so you are not left guessing. Once we’re there, the work takes two to three hours for most chips in most cases. We leave the room clean.
- We start by cleaning the damage and taking out loose enamel and rust.
- We fill the damage and sand it flush with the surrounding surface.
- We tint the finish on the day to suit your bath’s shade of white or colour.
- We build up the finish and polish it into the surrounding enamel.
- The repair is left to cure, and most baths can be used the next day.
Before we arrive
- Ensure the area is dry
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
