Bath repair at your home in Copenhagen
Chips, cracks, rust spots and small holes is repaired in place. Nothing is unplumbed, the tiles aren’t touched, and the repaired area is colour matched so it blends in. We regularly repair roll-top & freestanding, acrylic and cast iron enamel, and common reasons people get in touch are a hole punched through by something heavy and a failed DIY repair that’s discoloured or lifting.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back.

The process
Arrival times are agreed in advance. Once we are there, the work takes a few hours. We leave the room clean.
- Dust sheets and masking go down around the bath.
- The damaged area is cleaned, keyed and degreased.
- We fill it, let it set, then sand it flush.
- Colour and gloss are matched to the surrounding surface.
- We clear up and give you the curing time, normally until the day after.

Questions from Copenhagen
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
We do, regularly. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.
What information do you need?
Some photos, your postcode and how to reach you. On the day, we only need access to the room.
Do you hold any accreditations?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
What about rust by the waste?
Yes, it’s one of the most common repairs we do. The rust is cut back to clean metal and sealed before we fill and finish it.
Do you come to Copenhagen?
We do. We send a technician to Copenhagen for every job, with no extra charge for travel.
What happens if you find more damage?
The price is fixed for what the photos show. If there is more, we’ll tell you before starting.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children.
When can I have a bath again?
Most baths can be used the next day. We confirm the time before we leave.
Different materials, different repairs
Pressed steel
Steel baths are lighter than cast iron, but have a similar enamel surface. Exposed steel rusts fast, especially around the waste, so early repairs matter.
Acrylic
Acrylic feels warm and is light, but it needs firm support underneath. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
What a repair can’t fix
Not everything can be repaired, and we’d rather say so up front. Repairs won’t solve:
- A steel bath rusted through
- Wear across the entire surface, which needs re-enamelling
- A bath that moves underfoot, until its support is fixed
If in doubt, send photos and we will say what we think before booking.
Materials we repair
- Cast iron enamel
- Pressed steel enamel
- Acrylic
- Whirlpool & spa baths
- Roll-top & freestanding
Repair or replace: which is better?
Many people think a damaged bath means a new one. Typically it does not: a proper repair gives it years more use, without the cost and upheaval of replacing it. Prices start from £95. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Copenhagen. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Why us?
- Colour mixed on the day to match
- We leave the room as we found it
- Honest advice, even when it means no job
- One price list for the whole UK
Take a look at our prices page or resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.
Should I try a DIY kit first?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £95. Prices are worked out job by job. The main factors are:
- How easy the damage is to reach
- The material
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Doing more than one item at once
There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Getting a price from pictures
You can normally get a fixed price without us visiting. To make it quick:
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A picture taken from further back
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole bath, we can price the job without visiting.
Aftercare tips
It’s all simple stuff:
- Give the bath a quick rinse after use
- Keep metal cans and razors off the surface
- Fix dripping taps early to stop staining and limescale
- Put a towel in the bath if you’re working above it
Use gentle, non-abrasive cleaners and try not to drop heavy bottles on the repair. Get any new chip seen to quickly, before rust sets in.
Until we visit, a strip of waterproof tape over the damage helps, to keep water out. Remove it before the repair.
