Bath Repair for Corntwn homes
Problem with your bath in Corntwn? We repair it in place, match it on site and guarantee the work for a year.
- Repairs from £95
- Scuffs and scratches in the surface
- A kit repair that didn’t last

What bath repair costs
Prices start from £95. Prices are worked out job by job. What matters most is:
- The material and finish
- How easy the damage is to reach
- What kind of damage it is
- How many items we do on one visit
We do not add extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Getting a price from photos
Phone photos are fine, there’s no need for anything special. Just ensure we can see:
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- One picture of the whole bath
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
If you’re in Corntwn and want a price, the easiest route is photos: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. You will get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.
Bath repair in Corntwn without replacing anything
We see every kind of bath damage: chips from dropped bottles, rust round the plughole, cracks in acrylic and holes from falling tools. All of it is repaired where the bath stands. Whether it’s hairline or through cracks in acrylic and scuffs and scratches in the surface, we can normally put it right, on roll-top & freestanding, acrylic and cast iron enamel alike.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If something isn’t right in that time, we come back and put it right.

Why repair rather than replace?
Many people think a damaged bath means a new one. Normally it doesn’t: a proper repair gives it years more use, and costs far less than the disruption of a replacement. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.

DIY kit or professional repair?
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.
Looking after it afterwards
Much of the damage we repair could have been avoided. A few tips:
- If an acrylic bath flexes, have its feet adjusted
- Fix dripping taps early to stop staining and limescale
- Don’t leave razors or cans standing in the bath
- Give the bath a quick rinse after use
A repaired bath needs no special treatment. Avoid bleach-based and gritty cleaners and rinse after use.
Avoid standing in a cracked acrylic bath until it’s fixed. Every use opens the crack a little more, and it can start to leak underneath.
Different materials, different repairs
Pressed steel
Steel baths and trays have a thin metal body under the enamel. Once a chip exposes it, rust follows quickly, so the metal is treated and sealed before the repair.
Acrylic
Acrylic feels warm and is light, but it needs firm support underneath. Cracks are strengthened from behind before the front is finished.
How it works
There’s not much you need to do on the day. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. Most visits take a few hours, depending on the damage, including clearing up.
- We clean the area and remove any loose enamel or rust.
- The chip or crack is filled, then sanded level with the bath.
- The colour is mixed on the spot to match your bath.
- We apply the finish coats and polish the repair so it blends in.
- The repair is left to cure, and most baths can be used the day after.
Preparing for the visit
- Make sure the area is dry
- Open a window if you can
- Let us know which floor the room is on

Do you charge for travel?
No. Our quotes include travel, and we charge the same wherever you are.
Are you a vetted contractor?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.

Across the UK. Prices don’t change with location.

Yes, often. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.

Is a repair better than a new one?
Generally, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.
