Bath repair at your home in Holy Land
Whatever the damage, the aim is the same: a repair that is smooth, sound and hard to spot. We prepare the area properly, fill and shape it, then match the colour and gloss so it sits flush with the rest of the bath. We work on acrylic, pressed steel enamel and whirlpool & spa baths, and the jobs we see most are holes from dropped items and a failed DIY repair that’s discoloured or lifting.
We guarantee the work for a year. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it.

Looking after it afterwards
To keep it looking its best for years:
- Don’t leave razors or cans standing in the bath
- Do not scrub with anything abrasive
- Don’t leave a fresh chip for long
- Stick to mild cleaners and a soft cloth
For the first few days, keep heavy bottles off the repaired spot. After that, clean it as you would the rest of the bath.
Rust under enamel spreads surprisingly quickly. Left for months, a small chip can grow into a large rust patch, so it pays to deal with it early.
When we’d advise against a repair
Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair cannot fix:
- Rust that has eaten right through a steel bath
- Water coming from the waste or taps rather than the bath
- A bath that flexes because its feet or cradle have failed (that needs fixing first)
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.

Prices and what affects them
Repairs from £95. There is no charge for travel to Holy Land. The price comes down to:
- Unusual colours or finishes
- How many items we do on one visit
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The size and number of damaged areas
It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.
How to get a fixed quote
Good pictures mean an accurate price. Here’s what helps:
- Details of any past repairs
- One picture of the whole bath
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.
The process
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and clear up. Plan for two to three hours for most chips from start to finish. Before we go, we’ll explain how long to leave it and how to care for it.
- We protect the bath and the floor around it.
- The damaged area is cleaned, keyed and degreased, and any rust is treated.
- Filler goes in and is sanded flush once it has set.
- Colour and gloss are matched to the surrounding surface.
- We clear up and give you the curing time, normally until the next day.
Getting ready for the visit
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
Ask for a price
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire bath, add your postcode and send them over. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

Repair or replace in Holy Land?
A repair makes sense whenever the damage is localised. It’s a fraction of the cost of a new bath and fitting, it’s done in one visit, and nothing else in the room changes. Our bath repair starts from £95. We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

What else we do in Holy Land
Should I try a DIY kit first?
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
Do you need bath repair in Holy Land?
Glass and heavy bottles cause more chips than anything else, closely followed by shower heads. Fittings cause damage too: water sits around them, and any chip there soon rusts.
Signs it’s time to call us include:
- A kit repair that didn’t last
- Chips along the edge of the bath
- Scuffs and scratches in the surface
- Cracks in an acrylic bath
Questions to ask before you book
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
- Whether the colour is mixed to match
- What aftercare is recommended
- How long it needs to cure

Holy Land questions
Is repairing better than replacing?
Normally, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.
Which areas do you work in?
All of Liverpool, and the rest of the UK. Travel is included in the price.
What do you need from me?
Photos of the damage, a photo of the whole bath and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.
How quickly can you book me in?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send pictures with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day, so the repair is not disturbed while it cures.
Is a bath repair permanent?
It should, as long as the bath is firm and the area was prepared well. It’s covered by our one-year guarantee.
Do I need to be at home?
Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time we agree with you.
