Coloured bath resurfacing near Holy Land

Coloured bath resurfacing in Holy Land without replacing anything

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is normally done in one to two days. We work on whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and coloured shower trays, and people most frequently call us about faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.

The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If something isn’t right in that time, we come back and put it right. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

How the visit works

The work is clean and fairly quiet, so you can carry on at home. Protection goes down first, then the work takes one to two days for a full suite. At the end we talk you through the curing time and the aftercare.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.

Advice

Should I try a DIY kit first?

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.

10 questions to ask before you book

Repair or replace in Holy Land?

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Compared with replacing, repairing usually costs far less, because there is no removal, plumbing or making good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Holy Land

Is it messy?

Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.

What happens after I send pictures?

We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote with dates.

Is there any odour?

It depends on the job, but often a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum, and it soon fades.

Do I have to be there?

We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

In most cases. The old repair comes out first, so mention it when you send photos.

What about the toilet?

Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll tell you what will last.

Is repairing better than replacing?

Normally, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. If replacing would be better, we will say so.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Nearly always. We only ask to see it in person if the photos can’t show what we need.

Honest limits

We will not take on work that will not last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we will tell you honestly before you book.

Materials we repair

  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before you book. We look at:

  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • What the surface is made of
  • How many areas need work

The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.

How to get a fixed quote

Most quotes are done from photos alone. To help us price it:

  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • A photo taken from further back
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size

Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire suite, we can give you a fixed quote the same day in most cases.
