Work for landlords and builders

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, pictures and access details and we’ll arrange it.
Bath resealing at your home in Bray
Resealing is quick, but it transforms the look. Fresh joints make the entire room look cleaner, and they protect the walls and floor. Whether it’s unsealed corners and sealant that’s split or lifting, we can typically put it right, on kitchen worktops & sinks, shower trays & enclosures and basins & vanity units alike.
Peace of mind is built in: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we’ll explain exactly what it covers when we quote.

Different materials, different repairs
Shower trays
Trays are sealed with weight on them, so the joint is at its widest.
Sinks and worktops
We reseal basins, vanity tops and kitchen worktops, with the joint fully dried first.
DIY kit or professional repair?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.
Why reseal now?
A reseal is one of the cheapest bathroom jobs there is, and it protects everything around the bath. Failed sealant can lead to water damage that is much more expensive. Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
What you get with us
- One price list for the whole UK
- Typically one visit, start to finish
- Dust sheets down, tidy finish
- A fixed quote before booking
Read our prices page.
What bath resealing costs
We give every job a fixed price from pictures. These are the things that affect it:
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- The material
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Access to the area
It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
Send photos for a quote
You can take the photos on your phone. Make sure they show:
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- One picture of the whole bath or shower
- The material, if you know it
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
If you’re in Bray and want a price, pictures are the quickest way: one close up, one from further back, plus your postcode. You’ll get a fixed quote with dates to choose from.
Do you need bath resealing in Bray?
Sealant does not last forever. Every bath or shower adds moisture and soap residue, which mould feeds on, and the joint flexes each time the bath fills.
Look out for any of the following:
- Missing sealant behind the taps
- Gaps in the seal
- Black mould in the sealant
- Leaks at the edges
Comparing quotes
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- How changes to the job are handled
- Whether they match the colour on site
- How your room will be protected

Bray: your questions answered
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged before the end of a tenancy.
Are there extra charges for Bray?
There’s no separate call-out charge. Your fixed price includes everything.
Will the price change on the day?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. The price only changes if you agree.
Can landlords book you?
We do, regularly. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.
Can you reseal over the old silicone?
Never over old. The old sealant is cut out and the joint cleaned and dried.
How long before I can shower?
We’ll give you the curing time.
Why does my sealant keep going mouldy?
Damp is the cause. Ventilation and drying keep it clean longer.
Which areas do you work in?
All of Windsor and Maidenhead, and the rest of the UK. There’s no extra charge for travel.
The process
There’s not much you need to do on the day. Let us in and show us the room, and we’ll get on with it. The job generally runs to a couple of hours, including clearing up.
- The surrounding area is protected and the joints masked.
- Old sealant and residue are removed.
- We clean, treat and dry the joint.
- We run a continuous bead of new silicone.
- The bead is smoothed, the tape removed and the seal left to cure.
How to prepare
- Clear the area around the damage
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Ensure the area is dry
Getting a price
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them over with your postcode, and you’ll get a fixed quote back. Quotes are free and no obligation.
