Bath Resealing for Polwarth homes
Our technicians come to Polwarth for bath, shower and sink resealing with new mould-resistant silicone. Nothing is taken out, and the work is guaranteed.
- Damp near the bath
- Gaps in the seal
- A messy previous reseal

About our bath resealing in Polwarth
A good reseal is all about preparation: old silicone removed, mould treated, the joint cleaned and dried. Only then does the new sealant go on, in a neat, continuous bead. Typical jobs include damp near the bath and an untidy old seal, in basins & vanity units, wet rooms and baths.
You are covered for a year from the day of the repair. Just call us if there is a problem and we will sort it.

Sinks and worktops
Basins, vanity units and kitchen worktops are resealed too, once the joint is completely dry.
Shower trays
Trays are sealed with weight on them, for the same reason.
Why reseal now?
Compared with repairing water damage, resealing is cheap. It’s quick, tidy and protects your home. Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Polwarth. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

What we are called out for in Polwarth
Black mould is the most common reason people reseal. It grows into the silicone, so cleaning only removes the surface.
Keep an eye out for these signs:
- Damp near the bath
- Gaps in the seal
- Gaps by the taps
- Silicone smeared on tiles
What to look for in a quote

Work for landlords and builders
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.

Questions from Polwarth
Can you price it without visiting?
In nearly every case. If photos do not show enough, we will ask for another angle.
How long does a reseal take?
A bath or shower generally takes a couple of hours. It then needs time to cure.
What happens after I send pictures?
We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote.
Can landlords book you?
Yes, frequently. We can quote for several properties together and work between tenancies.
Are you a vetted contractor?
We’re accredited with CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first, so let us know about it.
What does bath resealing cost?
We give a fixed price from your photos. Send a close-up and a picture of the entire item and your postcode.
What information do you need?
Use the quote form or ring 0345 017 0787, and we’ll take it from there.
DIY kit or professional repair?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
Keeping it looking good
Aftercare is simple:
- Dry the seal after bathing
- Store bottles on a shelf
- Open a window after bathing
- Give the seal a regular clean
Leave the sealant to cure for the time we give you, normally about a day.
Mouldy sealant is more than a cosmetic problem, it’s a sign moisture is sitting in the joint. Resealing early keeps water out of the walls and floor.
What we can’t put right
In fairness, there are a few things a repair will not fix:
- Loose tiles, which need refixing first
- Rotten walls or floors behind the bath
- Gaps too big for silicone alone
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

The process
We begin by going over the job with you, so there are no surprises. Then the area is sheeted and masked and the work begins. It normally takes around two hours, and we will tell you if anything changes.
- We protect the area and mask the joint lines.
- Old sealant and residue are removed.
- We clean, treat and dry the joint.
- We run a continuous bead of new silicone.
- The bead is smoothed, the tape removed and the seal left to cure.
How to prepare
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Let us know which floor the room is on
