Bath Resealing in Sullom
Bath resealing in and around Sullom: a fixed quote from photos, a tidy visit and a one-year guarantee.
- Unsealed corners
- A messy previous reseal
- Silicone coming away from the tiles

Can I fix it myself?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.
Bath resealing at your home in Sullom
Resealing is one of the simplest ways to protect your bathroom. Failed sealant lets water get where it shouldn’t, and resealing puts a stop to that. If you’re dealing with silicone smeared on tiles and black spots in the silicone, we can help.
Big or small, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee.

Looking after it afterwards
Simple care helps the repair last. Our advice:
- Air the room after use
- Ventilate the bathroom well
- Give the seal a regular clean
- Replace the seal when mould sets in
Avoid scraping the joints, and don’t stand bottles on the seal.
Black mould in sealant isn’t just unsightly, it’s a sign moisture is sitting in the joint. An early reseal keeps water where it belongs.
What bath resealing costs
You’ll know the full cost before booking. We take into account:
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- How much damage there is
- Whether we combine several jobs
We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Sullom. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.
Getting a price from pictures
You can normally get a fixed quote without us visiting. To make it quick:
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- A wider photo showing the whole bath or shower
No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we will come back with a fixed figure.

- Water damage behind the bath that needs a builder
Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

- Shower trays & enclosures
- Baths
- Basins & vanity units

Is resealing worth it?
Sealing over old silicone is a false economy. It peels within weeks, and traps mould underneath. We remove the old sealant completely. Set against the cost of replacement, repairing usually costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
