Why reseal now?
Sealing over old silicone is a false economy. It peels within weeks, and traps mould underneath. A proper reseal removes the old first. What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed price from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.
Why us?
- Nothing taken out or refitted
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
- One visit for most repairs
- Every repair guaranteed for a year

DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
When a repair isn’t the answer
Not everything can be repaired, and we’ll tell you before we start. Repairs will not solve:
- Tiles that move, until they’re refixed
- Water damage behind the bath that needs a builder
- A flexing bath
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer before booking.

Windermere: your questions answered
How do I get a price for bath resealing in Windermere?
We give a fixed price from your photos. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo with your LA23 postcode.
Is the work guaranteed?
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
Are you a vetted contractor?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
Can you reseal over the old silicone?
All the old sealant comes out. New silicone won’t bond to old.
Why does mould come back so fast?
Mostly moisture and poor ventilation. Mould-resistant silicone and good ventilation help.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Typically, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids removal and making good. If replacing would be better, we will say so.
How soon can you come?
We will give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, so the repair isn’t disturbed while it cures.
