Bath resealing in Woodside without replacing anything
A proper reseal starts with removing every trace of the old silicone. Fresh sealant doesn’t stick to old, which is why many DIY jobs peel. Whether it’s old sealant that looks dirty and an untidy old seal, we can help, on wet rooms, shower trays & enclosures and kitchen worktops & sinks alike.
You are covered for a year from the day of the repair. Just call us if there is a problem and we will come back.

How it works
On the day, we arrive at the time we have agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take around two hours. We clean up when we are done and tell you when it’s ready to use.
- The old silicone is cut out completely.
- We remove the residue and clean the joint.
- We treat mould and dry the joint thoroughly.
- We fill the bath, or weight the tray, to open the joint.
- New mould-resistant silicone is applied and tooled neatly.
Preparing for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Let us know about parking or access

FAQs for Woodside
Is there a guarantee?
All our work carries a one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
What happens after I send pictures?
You get a fixed quote and available dates. If we need another angle, we will ask.
How soon can you come?
It depends on the time of year and where you are. Send photos with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.
Will the price change on the day?
If we find something the photos didn’t show, we explain it first. The price only changes if you agree.
How long does silicone take to cure?
Normally about a day later. We will tell you the exact time.
Do you cover the entire of Glasgow?
The whole UK, including all of Glasgow. Send your postcode with your photos and we will offer you dates.
Do I have to be there?
Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time that suits you.
Are you accredited?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
Is resealing worth it?
A reseal is one of the cheapest bathroom jobs there is and protects the walls and floor. Leaving failed sealant can let water cause damage that costs far more to fix. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.

Looking after it afterwards
Looking after the surface is easy:
- Store bottles on a shelf
- Replace the seal when mould sets in
- Run the extractor fan during and after showers
- Dry the seal after bathing
Don’t scrape the sealant with anything sharp, and don’t stand bottles on the seal.
Damp below or loose tiles need checking quickly. There may be more going on, and we’ll say if you need a builder or plumber.
How we price bath resealing
There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- The material and finish
- Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
- Access to the area
A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before booking.
Quotes from your pictures
Before you send photos, a few simple things make all the difference:
- Natural light rather than flash
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- One sharp close-up of the damage
The quickest way to a price is to send a couple of photos through our quote form or call us. We will say immediately if a repair is the right fix.
