Need coloured bath resurfacing in Comrie?

Coloured bath resurfacing in Comrie, done in place

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Our technicians work on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and common reasons people contact us are selling or letting a home with an old suite and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.

Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Why book with us

  • No extra charge for your area
  • No need to remove anything
  • Typically one visit, start to finish
  • Colour mixed on the day to match

What a repair can’t fix

Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

What we work on

  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites

How it works

We turn up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite, and we leave the room as we found it.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.

Before we arrive

  • Let the surface dry out before the visit
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access

Landlords, agents and businesses in Comrie

We regularly work with letting and managing agents. Send the address, pictures and access details.

Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets cannot afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Comrie questions

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Most of the time. Tell us what was done before.

Is it safe with children and pets around?

We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work and until it has cured. Everywhere else in the home is fine.

Do the materials smell?

A little, depending on the job. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum.

Can I add another job to the visit?

Of course, and it usually saves money. Send pictures of everything together and you will get one combined price.

Do I have to be there?

Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time that suits you.

How soon can you come?

Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

Can tenants book a repair?

We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Get your landlord’s agreement first.

Do you work in Comrie?

Yes, we do. Technicians travel to Comrie from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Resurfacing from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before booking. We take into account:

  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • How many areas need work
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it
  • The colour and finish to match

Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Send photos for a quote

Good pictures mean an accurate price. Here’s what we find most useful:

  • One picture of the whole suite
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • What it’s made of, if you know

Email us a photo of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, and tell us you are in Comrie, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

Keep an eye out for any of the following:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
