Bath repair at your home in EX20
We see every kind of bath damage: dropped-bottle chips, plughole rust, acrylic cracks and impact holes. All of it is repaired where the bath stands. We’re often asked to fix an old repair that has yellowed or come loose and scuffs and scratches in the surface, on acrylic, pressed steel enamel and whirlpool & spa baths.
Arrival times are agreed in advance, so you know when to expect us. On site, it takes two to three hours for most chips for most jobs. We leave the room clean and ready to use once it has cured.
- We start by looking at the damage and confirming the plan with you.
- Loose enamel, rust and dirt are removed so the repair can bond.
- We build up the filler in layers, shaping it to the bath.
- We tint the finish by hand to match the bath.
- The repair is polished to the same gloss as the bath and left to cure.
Cost
Prices start from £95. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you will get a fixed figure.
Why book with us
- We come to you, anywhere in the UK
- No need to remove anything
- No extra charge for your area
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor

Should you replace it?
Many people think a damaged bath means a new one. In most cases it does not: a repair keeps the bath in service for years, without the cost and upheaval of replacing it.

For landlords and businesses
Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.
Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.
Different materials, different repairs
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it relies on good support. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
Pressed steel
Steel baths are lighter than cast iron, but have a similar enamel surface. Chips rust quickly on steel, particularly by the plughole, so repair chips early.
Can I fix it myself?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
How the damage happens
Many chips happen while the bathroom is being fitted. Tradespeople drop tools and tiles into the bath, and the damage isn’t always spotted until later. We repair snagging damage like this regularly.
If you can see any of these, send us a picture:
- An old repair that has yellowed or come loose
- Rust by the waste and overflow
- Deep scratches in acrylic
- Chips along the edge of the bath
