Worktop Repair for Seaview homes
Damaged worktop in Seaview? We put it right where it is, match it on site and guarantee the work for a year.
- Repairs from £95
- Chips in quartz or granite
- Damage from fitting or building work

Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a worktop means removing the old one, templating and fitting a replacement and reconnecting the sink and hob, and matching the rest of the kitchen can be hard. A repair leaves the worktop in place. Prices start from £95. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

How we handle worktop repair in Seaview
A new worktop rarely matches the old one, particularly where several lengths join. A repair leaves the kitchen untouched. We regularly repair laminate, quartz and solid surface (such as Corian), and the jobs we see most are gouges in the surface and a heat mark or burn.
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee.

When a repair is not the answer
Some jobs aren’t right for a repair, including:
- Severe heat marks in quartz
- A cracked stone top that is unsupported
- A top that moves on its units
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly.
Materials we repair
- Laminate
- Quartz
- Solid surface (such as Corian)
- Solid wood
- Granite & marble
Materials and what they mean for the repair
Solid surface
Solid surface materials are uniform throughout, so marks can often be sanded and refinished.
Laminate
A laminate worktop is a thin decorative layer on a board. We fill damage and paint in the pattern by hand.
Looking after it afterwards
Aftercare is simple:
- Dry around the sink and joints
- Always use a trivet for hot pans
- Do not cut directly on the worktop
- Don’t knock pans against the edge
Never put hot pans straight onto the worktop. Heat can mark quartz and stone as well.
Damage near the sink is worth repairing quickly, because water gets in and swells the board.

Should I try a DIY kit first?
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

How the visit works
On the day, we arrive at the time we have agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. Expect it to take a few hours, depending on the damage. We tidy up before we leave and let you know when you can use it again.

- We fill and shape the damaged area.
- We recreate the pattern, flecks or grain.
- It’s finished to the same sheen and left to cure.
