Bath Re-enamelling in Wolverton Common
We travel to Wolverton Common for full bath re-enamelling and resurfacing. Everything is done in place, with a one-year guarantee.

- Worn patches where water runs and sits
- Enamel that is lost its shine and feels rough

Different materials, different repairs
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are so heavy that repairing in place makes obvious sense. Only the enamel surface wears or chips, and that’s the part we put right.
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it needs firm support underneath. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
About our bath re-enamelling in Wolverton Common
Re-enamelling gives a worn bath a new glossy surface without a refit. It’s the answer when the entire bath is tired rather than one spot. Common call-outs are for a coloured bath you want in white and enamel that’s lost its shine and feels rough, in basins & shower trays, acrylic baths and pressed steel baths.
Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do.

When we’d advise against a repair
In fairness, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:
- Holes rusted through the metal
- A metal bath with a through crack
- Problems we cannot see until an old finish comes off
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before booking.

Questions from Wolverton Common
Do you cover the entire of Hampshire?
Everywhere in the UK, Wolverton Common included. There’s no extra charge for travel.
Can you make a coloured bath white?
Yes, white is the usual choice. Mention the colour you want when you send pictures.
Do you resurface freestanding baths?
Yes, often. We resurface the inside, and the outside can be refinished too.
Do you cover Wolverton Common?
We do. Repair technicians travel to Wolverton Common from across the region, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
Is my repair covered?
Yes: twelve months. If there is a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Does the bath have to be removed?
No. We resurface it in place, so the tiles and taps stay put.
Can a failed resurfacing be redone?
Typically, yes. The old coating comes off before we resurface it. Tell us about it when you ask for a quote.
Is repairing better than replacing?
Normally, when the rest is in good condition. A repair avoids removal and making good. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

How to look after the repair
Much of the damage we repair could have been avoided. A few tips:
- Rinse off hair dye, oils and bath bombs immediately
- Repair dripping taps early
- Have chips seen to early
- Leave the bath for the full curing time before using it
Use mild, non-abrasive cleaners, don’t use suction bath mats, and keep bottles and razors off the surface.
Avoid scrubbing a dull bath with abrasive cleaners. It removes more of the surface and makes resurfacing more work.
Can I fix it myself?
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. You will know the full cost before booking. We take into account:
- What kind of damage it is
- The material
- Whether we combine several jobs
- The colour and finish to match
Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
Getting a price from pictures
Before you send pictures, these tips help us give you a firm price:
- A wider photo showing the whole bath
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- The material, if you know it
Getting a price is easy: take a close-up of the damage and a picture from further back, send them over with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote. Quotes are free and you’re under no obligation.
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacement only makes sense in a few cases: if the bath is cracked through, if you want a different size or shape, or if you’re refitting the entire room anyway. In most other cases, resurfacing is the better choice. Our bath re-enamelling starts from £350. Instead of hourly rates, we price the whole job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.

How the visit works
There is not much you need to do on the day. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. The job generally runs to most of the day, including clearing up.
- We check the bath and agree the finish with you.
- Everything around the bath is masked and covered.
- We degrease the bath, fix any damage and key the surface.
- We apply the primer and then the finish coats.
- The masking comes off, we tidy up and tell you when it can be used.
Getting ready for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Open a window if you can
