Non-slip bath & shower coating in The Camp, Gloucestershire
Clear non-slip coatings for baths and shower trays in The Camp, carried out at your home and guaranteed for a year.
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth

- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet

For landlords and businesses
For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
Non-slip bath coating in The Camp without replacing anything
It’s a clear, textured coating, so the bath looks much the same. It’s popular with homes with older or less mobile people, holiday lets and families. We regularly repair acrylic baths, resurfaced baths and wet room floors (ask us), and the jobs we see most are a bath or tray that is slippery when wet and bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten.
You get a one-year guarantee, the same in The Camp as everywhere else we work. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Do not use abrasive pads on the textured area.

Repairing versus replacing in The Camp
Instead, you could go for replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating adds grip to the bath you have. There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Common questions in The Camp
What areas do you cover?
The whole UK, including all of Gloucestershire. Send your postcode with your pictures and we will offer you dates.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Generally, yes. Let us know what was used before and we’ll plan for it.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes, and it’s frequently cheaper. Just add the extra items to your pictures and you’ll get one combined price.
Is repairing better than replacing?
Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We will be honest if it’s not worth it.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day.
Do you come to The Camp?
We do. We send a technician to The Camp for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.
Will you leave a mess?
Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and we clean up when we’ve finished.
What we do, step by step
There is not much you need to do on the day. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. The job generally runs to a few hours.
- We clean and degrease the standing area.
- The area to be treated is masked out.
- The clear textured coating is applied.
- The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
- The coating is left to cure before use, generally overnight.
How to prepare
- Ensure the area is dry
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Clear the area around the damage

Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a photo from further back, send them to us with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote. Quotes are free and you are under no obligation.
Related advice
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

Prices and what affects them
There is no charge for travel to The Camp. The price depends on:
- How easy the damage is to reach
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How much damage there is
- The material and finish
A repair is priced on what needs doing, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before you book, with nothing added on the day.
Quotes from your pictures
You can take the photos on your phone, there’s no need for anything special. Ensure they show:
- Details of any past repairs
- Any details about the material
- Natural light rather than flash
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
For most jobs, pictures are all we need to give you a price. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we will send back a fixed quote and some dates.
