Our bath repair service in HS2
Most of our bath repairs take a few hours, and the bath is back in use the next day. You won’t need a plumber or tiler, because the bath doesn’t move. Common call-outs are for an old repair that has yellowed or come loose and a cracked acrylic bath, across roll-top & freestanding, pressed steel enamel and whirlpool & spa baths.
We work cleanly and quietly. We protect the area first, then the work takes a morning or an afternoon. Before we leave, we explain how soon it can be used and how to look after it.
- First, the area is cleaned and any loose enamel or rust is removed.
- Next we fill the damage and sand it smooth and level.
- The colour is mixed on the spot to match your bath.
- We apply the finish coats and polish the repair so it blends in.
- We leave it to cure; you can typically use the bath the day after.
What it costs in HS2
Our bath repair starts from £95. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send pictures and you’ll get a fixed figure.
Why book with us
- Rooms protected and left tidy
- Colour-matched on site
- No extra charge for your area
- We come to you, anywhere in the UK
Get a quote
A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the entire bath, add your postcode and send them over. You’ll get a fixed quote, not an estimate.
Near you in Sanndabhaig
Our customers here include homes close to Nicolson Institute and the streets around them. Further afield, we also cover the area around Western Isles Hospital (1.9 miles north-west) and Lewis Loom Centre (1.8 miles west). Not far away are Loch Àirigh na Lic.
Landlord and trade work in HS2
Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, fixing chips and scratches before handover so nothing needs replacing. We’re CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in HS2 as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it costs much less than replacing.
What a repair cannot fix
A repair isn’t always the answer, and we would rather say so up front. Repairs won’t solve:
- Metal that has corroded all the way through
- A bath that moves underfoot, until its support is fixed
- Wear across the entire surface, which needs re-enamelling
What bath repair costs
Repairs from £95. We charge the same across the UK, including HS2. What changes the price is:
- What the surface is made of
- How hard the colour is to match
- Doing more than one item at once
- The size and number of damaged areas
The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. You’ll see the full price before you book.
Send photos for a quote
It only takes a minute to photograph the damage, and it saves a visit. Please include:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- One picture of the entire bath
- Something in shot to show the size
Upload pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your HS2 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
DIY repairs versus a professional job
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
For a hairline mark somewhere you’ll never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
Signs you need bath repair
Damage during fitting is very common. Tradespeople drop tools and tiles into the bath, frequently before anyone notices. We repair snagging damage like this regularly.
Most people get in touch after spotting something like this:
- Snagging damage from a refit
- Chips along the edge of the bath
- Hairline or through cracks in acrylic
- A kit repair that didn’t last
HS2 questions
Do you work in HS2?
We do. We send a technician to HS2 for every job, and the price is the same as everywhere else.
When can I have a bath again?
Generally within a day, though it depends on what we have done.
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
If we find something the photos didn’t show, we explain it first. You decide whether to go ahead.
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged.
Can you redo someone else’s repair?
Most of the time. Let us know what was used before.
Can you match an avocado or pink bath?
Yes, we match coloured baths too. The colour is tinted by hand on the day.
Is repairing better than replacing?
Generally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
